why it delay the case any reason and do you apply through lawyer actually i also applied through lawyer and when i ask that should i apply for the noted then he said no he will ask for the notes.

Question: My MP called me and told me the exact same thing as it appeared on my ecas. "Decision made and will contact my spouse regarding their decision". I requested notes which are due on Monday, Feb23. I called my lawyer and told him that he said "why did you request notes?!" and said that this is going to delay my case even further. I'm so confused - can someone please help?!

what is the normal trend when case is in process and will new increase time line will effect existing in process case. As per current trend their is 4 to 5 month between in process to decision made. Any one know exact process when they need to call second medical and what background check contain and how long it will and how you know that their is no need of interview if we do not order notes.

I don't know why he said that and he said it pretty angrily so I assured him that I didn't request notes but infact I have :-[ It's only because we are kept in the dark and don't know what is going on with our files. My MP even told me that my case was submitted twice which is a bad misrepresentation. I need to wait 2 years before reapplying. Which doesn't make sense because I only applied once!

Thats the reason actually why your lawyer was getting angry. He messed up your case once and then applied again.. And you will get to know all the details and all the correspondance in the notes.. Which he doesnt want u to know..

What a little B*****D*! I can't even say anything to him because I don't want him to mess up my file even further. What's the best solution? What should I do and how do I find out about my decision made status?

I just sent him an email asking and I sent my MP an email asking her to send me the documents so that I can follow up with my lawyer. It's not only the lawyer, even MPs are like that. I've been calling her since yesterday and she told me that she is out of the office and will get back to me today and never did. Until I called her to which she said at first I think I lost your inquiry!

Lawyer was right, there is no need to order notes in the 2nd last step of your application.... your decision has alredy been made, and it takes 30 to 40 days to get PPR. some time people get ppr in 10 -15 days after decision been made it very case to case.
further it is not sure that you will get notes on Monday... plus yo wont get any extra details in notes...

Well cic emailed me saying Feb 23 is the day when my 30 days will be up and will be able to receive the notes. But I'll still wait because there's not much I can do otherwise. Thanks

it is a tentative timelines, some times it comes on times but many time delay occurs, as i seen ur decision was made on 3rd feb, so one has to wait for next 30 to 40 days...anyhow your decision abt notes, i just share my point...

salam, when cic scan your original doc then he send those all doc to the applicant so don't worry, this is normal. When cic confirmed your doc then he send back. Best of luck. Naveed
