im waiting for my passport from ISL, and a member above talked about NICOP, i have a chip based CNIC, is it enough or should i get a NICOP?

I wrote an email to LVO today....to update me about my application....i hope it wouldnt cause any delay in my process :-\

It won't delay anything. One of two things will happen. Either the email will be ignored. (which they do often) Or they will email you back saying, no further action is needed by you at this time, we will update you with status once its reviewed by officer. The first time i asked for my application update i received this response. I then emailed them regarding an important question and it was ignored. Lets hope everyone who is waiting for their spouses receive their visas very very very very soon! in shaa Allah! Ameen!

Who knows, tomorrow we all may wake up with visa's! Imagine how great that would be!

I got my passport back today. Submitted it on 13 jan. Total time London office took after my application was received in London was 12 months n 3 months were taken for approval of my sponsor initially. So in total 15 months for case to process.

After how many days of decision made u got ppr???
My status changed to decision made on 5 February.
Waiting for ppr

If u cab get nicop that's better then u can use it to come to Pakistan.its better to have it before coming from Pakistan.cnic used only in Pakistan.

Mine changed on 3 Feb, still waiting for PPR! Did you get any emails from CIC? or was it just status changed and that's it?

Hello folks, I am new to this forum and applied for my wife in August 2013 and wondering if someone could answer my request after remedical PPR timline? and remedical was done in December 2014 since then no updates also the CIC status is still the same as it was Application Received. Medical received.

There was supposed to be an email that should've been sent out but since my lawyer screwed up and gave wrong email address it hasnt been sent. I've asked for GSM notes to see where the case stands now as my lawyer told me that decision made does not mean that it's a direct request for PPR. All the other members had their status changed on the same day, received emails within 1 hour of the update

Normally, it takes around a month for PPR after remedical..

most of the time status is not updated timely and i notice that status web status change after you get any letter. normally what I observe that their is a duration of 3 month between re-medical and ppr request but this is not hard and fast rule as no body can exactly tell you. some time they called for re-medical before the background check and some time they called after completing the background check but again this is our observation. even some people called for 3 medical test. let hope the best and pray for every one.

Med is independent of BG check. BG is the last thing done with your case after remed.
