Got my passport request on Jan 23 and was received in Islamabad Jan 28.
nothing after that though
but at least I am with my husband now, even if it is in Pakistan
and he met his daughter!

Either you will get extension in med and will have to land in CA in couple of days while getting uour PP back with Visa. Or you will be asked for a remed or partial remed.

In Sha Allah, soon you will receive email for PPR, approx it takes 15-25 working days and then after submission of passport another 25-35 working days. so in total hopefully if all goes well it's 40-60 working days and if you get earlier you're lucky. Stay Blessed.

OK, so I have a question:

On Friday, I checked my e-case and it showed that the decision has been made and the visa office will contact my spouse. I contacted my lawyer/immigration consultant immediately to find out if they received any communication regarding this decision. They said no.

Now, it got me to thinking maybe they didn't provide their email address to receive correspondence electronically (which doesn't make sense to me - why wouldn't you in this day in age where everyone would rather have it sent instantenously?). Regardless, now so my question is: Is there a way I can update my file to have the email address included for the communication sent either to me or to the lawyer directly? Or should I not try to mess with the system in this late in the game? I just hate wasting days in the snail mail!!

P.S. I provided my email address in the application but I'm sure they (my lawyer's office) are the "owner's" of my application.

i have a question, i have sent my passport to islamabad and that passport will expire on 29th sep 2015, so should i make new passport here in Pakistan or should i do this when i land in canada?
