I need help.. My husband received a medical letter from Delhi .. To get an appointment they need a valid passport number. And jus passport is expired .. He will apply for passport tommorow. But he just have 2 days left to get an appointment , they give him 7 days ... .. I don't know what to do .. Any suggestion plz .. What should he do now.... (Plz no rude answer..if can't help me then don't bother.. I have got lots of rudeness already from here .. So plz ....and thanks ..))

guys, in the re-medical correspondence they have requested for
- Chest Xray (in DICOM / JPEG format) with report (in PDF) Completed MEDICAL REPORT CHEST XRAY
- REQUISITION AND REPORT form (Page 5 and 6 of IMM5419) (in PDF)
- Duly completed Reassessment Form (in PDF/word)
which reassessment form they are referring too? and can anyone advise me the fees of this re-medical.

Should have kept a note on the expiry but anyways write to CIC asking them to extend the deadline to a few more days. CIC are cooperative in certain circumstances.

In this situation do the following:
1- Write them the number of the expired passport also tell them that it is expired on that date and you have applied for the new one.
2- Tell them your File number with the case processing centre.
3- Use some other ID number as well which is not expired for example CNIC.
4- When your husband will go for his medical he should bring his Old passport with the new passport as well, also take the CNIC PLUS the letter from visa office and letter from New Delhi.
5- For New Delhi documents mentioned from 1 to 3 will be more than enough.

OK, so I have a question:

On Friday, I checked my e-case and it showed that the decision has been made and the visa office will contact my spouse. I contacted my lawyer/immigration consultant immediately to find out if they received any communication regarding this decision. They said no.

Now, it got me to thinking maybe they didn't provide their email address to receive correspondence electronically (which doesn't make sense to me - why wouldn't you in this day in age where everyone would rather have it sent instantenously?). Regardless, now so my question is: Is there a way I can update my file to have the email address included for the communication sent either to me or to the lawyer directly? Or should I not try to mess with the system in this late in the game? I just hate wasting days in the snail mail!!

P.S. I provided my email address in the application but I'm sure they (my lawyer's office) are the "owner's" of my application.

my question is my medical expire on 19 Feb 2015 and i am still waiting for passport first i am sure i will get passport before expire but if my passport come back after 19 or so on. they call me re medical or no. and i am already send email to London office and informed for this matter and i still waiting this reply too.

Either you will get extension in med and will have to land in CA in couple of days while getting uour PP back with Visa. Or you will be asked for a remed or partial remed.

no need to apply for new passport or make thing more complicated. Just get visa and once you here in Canada apply for new one when it get expired
