Do you get your landing papers when you arrive in Canada at the airport? Or do you have to apply for them when you get here?

Exactly, I just think that we would have to go through the CVAC office of our city (Lahore in my case) and they will in turn forward the passports to the Islamabad embassy internally. we can't send passports directly to Islamabad on our own.

who said you cant send passport on your own ?
commom dont make things complicated jusrst send it through any courier service
they send orginal documents under special care and charge a bit
so just relax

Application filled May 2013.

Get Approval July 2013

Transfer to Islamabad July 2013

Transfer to london Feb 2014

Still i did not received any re medical or any update from cic...last week i send query through Mp and yesterday get reply from cic mention below..


This is in response to your inquiry regarding the above noted file.
Please be advised that this application is in a queue awaiting the organisation of an interview. The interview will take place in Pakistan, and will be conducted by an Immigration Officer based in London, UK, during an area trip.

We expect that area trips will be conducted in each quarter of the year. The applicant will be contacted approximately one month prior to the scheduled interview date.

Kindly senior member tell me that what happen next and how much they took time its months already gone

i think they will call us for interview in month of april.

at least they share with us that how they shedule to conduct interview.

in my opinion if they put somebody in interview they dont remove in any case because me and other members gave them further description but still we are in interview que so try your luck and wait what we can do.

mostly they put in interview for no proper reason. they just ruined up things themself

Yes u can...but make sure you update your address in their system...i moved to dubai a year ago and i updated my address with them...but i wud advise u to stay in pak and dnt complicate it for urself..

I hv a question...can me n my husband shifts to dubai untill i will get the ppr?

A quick question to all those who got rremedical request. Where does the request get dispatched from? Islamabad visa office? London visa office? Or Delhi or somewhere else??

Still waiting for request but I believe it's from LVO and it's sent to New Delhi to be processed. Pls correct me any other member that may be able to better answer wahmad4 request.

I got remed request from LVO.....my medical was sent online to LVO...didnt go to delhi

Thanks for the advice guys. I agree that in hindsight it was pretty stupid not researching everything before I booked the ticket but can't do anything about that now. I will get to the airport well ahead of time and speak to customs or CBSA as some of you have suggested. For now, I just hope she doesn't get stopped at Heathrow in London. So far she has been able to get through customs in Pakistan and Doha.

Also if anyone else who has received the passport within the last month or two can share their experience, I would really appreciate it. All my wife got was the passport with an immigration visa for "ONE entry". Not sure if the landing papers or COPR were misplaced or never delivered.

Insha Allah Blahblahblah she will reach Canada without any concerns

I got passports today on 6th Feb. 2015 after 30 working days or 45 overall days. Alhamdulillah

You guys will also receive soon InshaAllah, See as I said it requires 30 to 40 working days so be cool 8)

Ladies and Gentleman Grin Grin May I announce that,,,, Alhamdullilah, Finally After "PAIN N GAIN" I GOT MY IMMG VISA+LANDING PAPERS OF MY FAMILY...4

And also i want share some important info..... as per my Canadian lawyer ,,,, Islamabad office take minimum 45 days to process VISA stamping......keep in your mind... who waiting for your PP+COPR back,,, it will take 45 days min...

ISD office completed 22-Dec-2014 receiving PP application done... ..Maan ho ha he also received today.....

one more thing which airline is better... before june,,, ticket prices remain low.........plz guide....PIA is sucks..

PIA does suck try Emirates or Etihad keeping in mind that they are connecting flights PIA is the only direct flight.
