check activity 1in activity section
or check transfer to london
or check updated date on the very first lines

This doesn't help in my case :(

The first line update is September 2014, it s when i sent them additional doc (Urdu NN). In Notes, the oldest one from London i see is begin June 2014 when I sent the Status request. Which prove that file was already in London in begin June.

And there is no other place where I can see any update or transfer date because before that I never communicated with them so no information on my file.

The all other information are from 2013 and nothing in there is abut Islamabad else when file got Sent in August 2013 to Islamabad by Mississauga .

So NOTES in my case doesn't help find the real transfer date.

Anyway All I want is this to end, it is now being 2 years, this is getting so depressing :(

May Allah help us all in this difficult moments, Ameen

Hi guyz,

Alhumdulillah, my wife is in Canada now.

I just wanted to ask when will my wife get her original documents back, do they just send them or do we have to request for them? What original docs do they send (I hope at least all the important ones (nikkah nama, birth certificates, police certificate, medical report etc)?

Thank you,

In every case its different, some people get org docs back before even re-med or ppr, some get them after, some got them when their file transferred from isb to Lnd and some got them after even getting the visa.. in my case i sent them an e-mail about my orig docs and they said, they will return them in due time (when the e-cas changed in process) they will look into my file and if my org docs are valid and genuine they will return it.
and they did after 1 month of my e-cas changed to in process.
hope you find this info helpful
they sent my birth certificate, my educational docs, thats it. they did not return urdu , eng or nadra nikah naama.
Regards,
Zam

My friend is sponsoring her husband from Pakistan for permanent residence visa. She is unsure how much she should pay. She thinks its:

Sponsorship application fee $75 + Principal applicant fee $475 + Right of permanent residence fee $490 = $1,040.

Can someone confirm please?

Hello All,

Just want some info for my friend:

She is sponsoring her husband from Pakistan, but her husband is Afghan national.

The files for Afghan national use to be processed in Islamabad office back in 2012.
Does anyone has any idea where it goes now and what is the timeline?
