my neighbour's son sent his passport 20 days ago and according to his father he told me today that their contact in embassy has said they have dispatched their passport with visa..if its true then they are getting it back under a month.
emabssy received my passport last friday so i guess couple of weeks more to go..maybe more.

My passport delivered to Islamabad On, 19-January-2015 for visa issuance, Can anybody tell me May I send any Email to the embassy or I should wait????


Its really difficult after submitting the passport for visa. this time does not pass easily.

some people were waiting for 56 days or more.

Yes, it is approx. 58 days for applicants from Islamabad.

Alhumdulillah, my wife is in Canada now.

I just wanted to ask when will my wife get her original documents back, do they just send them or do we have to request for them? What original docs do they send (I hope at least all the important ones (nikkah nama, birth certificates, police certificate, medical report etc)?

Well, quite a few options...BUT

Traveling with PIA has one big advantage and that is its DIRECT to Toronto...and its a fair advantage.,..trust me direct flights are always awesome...
Other options with 1 stops are Emirates and Turkish, Saudi Airline..

I would prefer PIA,..coz transit in Dubai for long hours can be hectic , considering the total long journey (Lahore to Canada, 7000 miles appx.)

Indeed. The flying time for Emirates from Dubai to Toronto is 14:30 hrs whilst PIA from Islamabad/Karachi is approx. 12:XX hrs.
