CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2012 -2013

[This Process is Senseless]

Hi Everyone. I have been benefiting from this forum and decided to post for the first time. I am sponsoring my wife and live in Ontario. Here are timelines so far:

App Submitted: Oct 2013
File transferred to LVO: Jan 2014
re-Medical done: late Nov
Passport requested: Dec 01, 2014
Passport Received by Islamabad Visa Office: Dec 05, 2014
PP received: Jan 29

As my name suggests, I find the process for sponsorship RIDICULOUS. I grew up in Canada and could have never imagined the pain that people go through to just get their significant other to come live with them. Well, now i know. This is just in-humane.

Anyways, will keep everyone posted of how things turn out. I think some of you are in the same position as me, and will keep you posted how things turn out

Thank God this ordeal is over. I am happy to report my wife received her PP back yesterday. I hope and pray that everyone else gets out of this ordeal soon.

PP Sent to PHEP-LDN Islamabad on 18th of Dec. 2014, They received (By Wasif) on 22nd of Dec.2014. Still waiting.
After 4 weeks contacted CHC-London. LVO says contact directly to CHC-Islamabad & CHC-Islamabad do not reply.

A few people here have been waiting since last week of November, I myself sent my passport on 3rd December and have not gotten it back. The turnaround time seems to be approximately 2 months. Contact your Member of Parliament (in Canada) to inquire about the status.

Is it possible that CHC Islamabad can send pp back with visa stamped in three weeks?

My brother got visa within 10 days in August 2014 from CHC Islamabad
