I havnt seen my husband since a year too.. and the last time i saw him was whn he came for only 11 days..

Wow congratulations! 3 and a half years is a long time. I haven't seen my husband in close to 1.5 years. Hate this waiting game!

It is really hard though but we both try to stay strong... distance hurts a lot...but iits just that we talk to each other and try to keep each other strong... but now when we got PPR it was like a bit of relief for us...
i really pray that we all get out ppt back soon and those who r waiting for ppr get it soon too.. staying without ur better half just kills one from the inside.. really hope the embassy would realise that soon and get everybodys process done in a time bearable by all...

Hot Flames everywhere.BUT alarming thing is no tcs #s last night. I think there is change in PP return, perhaps through VAC. Plz share who receive their PPs. Waiting is unbearable now.

I know how that hurts, even my wife was really upset when I left her, but we have waited for almost three yrs, so we said another 3 months waiting will not hurt us, but now I am finally out of this nightmare. I wish and pray that this night mare ends for all my brother and sisters.
even 2 yrs or 3 yrs waiting just for sponsorship for a wife and husband is really bad.

i m asked for sponsor proofs of residency in canada
i sent his phone bills, utility bills, bank transactions, car lease agreement, insurance paper, western union receipts , job letter pay stubs and car speeding ticket

all these things to show that he is currently residing in canada not to show he is permanent resident but hopefully the things are much similar if u just prove ur residency in canada

can u tell who is ur visa officer ?

my question is tht proof of past six months is enough...

Hi Everyone. I have been benefiting from this forum and decided to post for the first time. I am sponsoring my wife and live in Ontario. Here are timelines so far:

App Submitted: Oct 2013
File transferred to LVO: Jan 2014
re-Medical done: late Nov
Passport requested: Dec 01, 2014
Passport Received by Islamabad Visa Office: Dec 05, 2014
Visa Issued: Still waiting

As my name suggests, I find the process for sponsorship RIDICULOUS. I grew up in Canada and could have never imagined the pain that people go through to just get their significant other to come live with them. Well, now i know. This is just in-humane.

Anyways, will keep everyone posted of how things turn out. I think some of you are in the same position as me, and will keep you posted how things turn out

I totally agree with u. The spousal process specially for us Pakistani is ridiculous.

Just to let u guys know there are going to be few delays in the overnight shipping of tcs couriers as they are doing Aircraft maintenance . So there might be some delays in the delivery of pp.
