If your file was send directly to London, then there is a change it might be done within the London time frame

Hi dear members today I sent my possport by TCS for same day delivery but it's been 12 hours tracking number shows invalid on site

Are you sure you're entering tracking # correctly on the website? If it still shows invalid, call the TCS office and inform them of the situation.

Usually it arrives next day to the Embassy and will be received/signed by AHMED.

Don't worry, your ppt will arrive their safely inshaAllah.

been waiting 54 days for pp back

congrats to all those who got further notice!!

56 days for us also and still nothing... there are a few ppl here in our same situation and some whom still haven't got it back since late-Nov.
Hopefully this week is our week.

Do airline count large blanket box as a suitcase , as i am only allowed 2 suitcase for luggage and 1 hand carry. and can i hold a separate shopping bag with hand luggage.

as for hand carry you are allowed 1 piece @ 7kg but also you are allowed one personal item (for women this is usually purse, or can be a backpack/bookbag, camera bag, laptop case, etc.)

So if u have 1 hand carry and 1 shopping bag it should be ok.

What i sometimes did was keep the extra bag out of sight when checking-in at counter. Go thru immigration, go toward the boarding gate but 1st go to Duty Free and ask for a large shopping bag. Put your things in that Duty Free bag and you're good to go without any questions.
Get some extra baggage name tags from the counters at check-in.

Not only CIC but almost all the departments are pretty tough dealing with someone on welfare. Worth trying to contact CIC directly if she is in Canada but it's definitely not an easy path to take.

I have been a silent observer and I wanted to finally join in. I have a few urgent questions that I hope you will be able to shed some light on. FYI, I sponsored my wife from Afghanistan and Mississauga sent the files to New Delhi.

I submitted my application in January of 2014. I got second AOR from New Delhi end of March. Medicals expired in September of 2014. My problem is this:

1. My application online always said Application Received but nothing about Medical results were mentioned. I noticed that many people here have AR/MR. However, my application only had AR.

2. My case went to IP on December 2, 2014 and I was hoping to receive second medical request but I did not hear anything for a month. So I decided to order my notes. In the notes, it states that eligibility has been approved/passed which is a big sigh of relief. However, I see medical has been "In Progress" since we submitted our application in January of 2014. Does this mean that NDVO/Mississauga never received applicant's medical results? We definitely submitted them with our application.

3. Also, I want to change our method of communication to e-mail instead of mail. How do I go about doing this as quickly as possible? Currently, everything from NDVO is sent to us by mail in Canada (mailing address for both sponsor/applicant). I want to change applicant's method of communication to e-mail.

Please advice me, I am the sponsor, btw. I don't want this to take longer than it has. Thank you all very much and all the very best of luck to you
