You and me are in the same boat i think u were also asked for the same forms, ppr1 and pcc. I dont know when are they going to ask for ppr2.

looks they have put PPR cases aside. now they will be busy ahead in shifting and holidays.

yes you do... any changes such as the following; require you to inform cic

births
deaths
marriages
divorces
adoptions
changes in address
changes in employment
acquisition of a new educational credential or
results of an approved language test

We have an almsot 1 year old baby boy who was born in canada but we haven't notified cic..
What should we do? He'a almost 1.. Is it too late? What if they ask why we didn't notify them before?

no you should notify them asap... this may be one of the reasons that your in interview queue they may not believe that your marriage is genuine... I only say this because that was stated in my notes that "they declare a Canadian child together"

Either way informing them now and is only a positive for you and In Sha Allah it helps with getting you out of this terrible queue

Thats not true. Previously it used to be routed thru new delhi when they had a old thakaar system bt nowadays they are sent directly in less than a weeek

That is true. What is now being done; it is done online now for remed. That is the reason ecas is updated in 2 business days. Upfront is still gone through ND and which is manual. You can verify from your physician at IOM

No problem even if you are informing CIC late about baby, we also informed CIC about baby when she was I guess 8 month old and was in Pakistan. The problem will occur if you do not tell at all and CIC gets to know by any other mean like interview etc. So do send a email ASAP stating the reason of being late (We dint even state any reason, just asked what forms do we need to fill for the new born etc)
