The reason behind move out >> Canada sells London embassy building for $530 million

http://www.thestar.com/news/canada/2013/11/29/canada_sells_london_embassy_building_for_530_million.html

OTTAWA—Canada has sold a large embassy building in London’s luxury Mayfair district to Indian developer Lodha Dwellers Pvt Ltd for $530 million, the Canadian foreign ministry said.
Canada wanted to dispose of the large six-storey building, the Canadian High Commission, in Grosvenor Square because it plans to consolidate all diplomatic activities in another official Canadian property on Trafalgar Square. Canada was advised by Savills PLC.
Foreign embassies are abandoning London’s premier addresses such as Mayfair and Kensington as the world of diplomacy changes in the face of security risks and new technology.
The sale also reflects the Conservative government’s desire to put the Canadian foreign service on a more business-oriented footing, in part by disposing of its more opulent buildings.
Canada disposed of its mansion-like residence in Dublin in 2008 and is trying to sell the ambassador’s house in Rome.

Jazak Allah I appreciate it... I get frustrated with the WHY!!! were going through this just to be with our loved ones. Then I think only Allah swt knows the reason for our obstacles that we are enduring. If we were aware of them than we would agree to this wait. So I've left it to Allah and continue to make duas for all members and myself that this journey will end soon and on a positive note for all In Sha Allah

COPR is landing paper. There is no difference. Just two different terms.

Anyone who has got a PR recently please provide your feedback.

Ahan so that means w.r.t Conditional PR the spouse will get COPR only right? And what if spouse needs to travel back in home country? Would it be possible to travel; I assume there is multiple entry visa on the PP then. Right?

does any body if we need to send the old passport too along with our current passport for visa stamping. We have only sent the recent passport.
