Dec. 2009 ... I'm assuming its a parent/grand parent sponsorship?
Yes, it's parents sponsorship, but I want to know the timeline between file transfer to medicals. I believe it should be same for either application.

Why is my Ecas still "in process" in after passport request :(
Because it is not mandatory or automated with respect to your PPR.
It is up t your VO how quickly he updates your online status, so chill there is nothing to wory about.

thankyou omni.. I cant believe how much information people have on this form .. can i sponsor as soon as i land and get a job? and how long it take?

I'm sure you can but you might to check if there's an income requirement associated with sponsoring parents/grandparents ... we know that requirement is not for spousal cases; if the income requirement is there, you may wish to see whether your new job will be able to meet that threshold.

Waiting time period for parent sponsorship can be found here:

they got super visa but their passport was expiring in 3 years so they only give them 3 years visa instead of 10 years .. btw what is the maximum they can stay non stop on super visa? can they extend the 2 years to 4 years in total?
