Hi Everyone my brother applied for my sister in law in 2012 and got ppr in September 2014 ppr 2 on October 12 2014 and passport was sent on October 15 2014 but she has not yet received it back and i see people here have sent there ppt approximately same time as her and have got their visa my sis in laws status changed to decision made before she got ppr request we email London office but no reply from them. any suggestions please? and also the tCS number was going as 23014689999 what is after that as 900 is done can someone please post their latest number here.

order notes u will find out that interview is required or not.
CIC usually ask for interview before remed...butt in few cases they ask for interview after remedical

Salaamoalicom to all of the respected forum members I need ur advices coz I am going to stay in Islamabad with my wife till I get ppr or anything coz I can't wait anymore its more than too much anyways guys i am going inshala my plan is to stay in Islamabad wit my wife any body knows any good safe residential area like fully furnished apartment for reasonable price for rent? in Islamabad in safe and secure area ? Coz me and my wife we have never been in Islamabad before I been in Peshawar but not

You have to assure and show your intentions to CIC that you both will stay in CA after getting PR. that's only in case of Canadian citizen. In case of Permanent resident you can visit for few week or months but not permanently.

This is too applied on the PR as well, sponsor has o live in CA for atleast 180 days in a year. I have an example of a friend of mine. Sponsor started living in UAE with wife after filing his case and went to CA for short trips. CIC got to know that and cancelled their application on this base. They appealed and its been 5 years their case is still in process. The sponsor is now bound to live in CA until the case is finalized.

Hello,Torontonina04 tell me one thing please when u visit ur MP office and request for ur case update how many days CHC took to answer ur MP??? Its in London or Islamabad office?? I requested about my case status .Mp said he contacted to Islamabad office fax them but it's three weeks gone no reply to MP.God knows what's going on there. May be Aliens took my file.

ur mp is BS'ing you, they simply can call them (that's what my mp's office did and a majority of them do) ... they are just being lazy tards

o yea, they get back to you in 2-3 business days (mine always did whenever i bothered him, although they didn't do much for me except for the "ur case is still awaiting background checks" "give it three months and u will hear something or expect something" standard crap)

mp's are only good when you have an exceptional situation or ur case is past its time limit...

chances of asking for interview after remed are usually on the low side... don't unnecessarily order notes when ur file is still within the time frame... although it doesn't harm to you order notes, however, they can see you are ordering them, and sometimes causes a bit of curiosity to them as to why, so it can have its positives (you getting the notes, and usually ppl don't know how to decode them or interpret them) or them getting a bit curious on ur case...

serial numbers will continue... it just happened to stop at that number at the end of the day...

if u r a PR then its not a good idea at all... you can max go for about 3 weeks, or the end results won't be pretty.... a guy i know did that, where his case was taking a long time and they had a baby, he went back home out of frustration to live with wife and kid, and stayed there, next thing he found out his PR was gone, his case was rejected, now he is told to come to Canada, to stay here for 2 years to re-up his PR card and then re-apply for his wife's sponsorship...

if you are a citizen although you can go for as long as you wish, you will still need to PROVE to them BIG TIME that you and your wife plan on coming back to Canada and living here, and a simply "I plan on going back to Canada and living there" will not do it unfortunately....

so decision is urs to make, best of luck...

You are correct. The MP Office usually contacts Ottawa.
