Hi there,

I have a question to ask you.

I got my passport request. Alhumdulillah very happy with this news. In my passport request letter, this is what it said, "You should expect to be without your passport for 2 weeks, so don't arrange any travel that will require your passport during this period, If you have not heard from TCS after 2 weeks, you may contact us at the London office".

So my question is that they are saying 2 weeks does this mean I should get back the passport with the visa in 2 weeks?

If you don't mind, can you all share your passport received timelines from the time you got your passport requests preferably who all got similar verbiage in their passport request letter?

congratz...

that's a standard line they throw in... basically right now they are taking roughly 3-4 weeks (mostly 3) to send back pp with visa... so have patience for a month's time, if nothing then email lvo... unless ur medical expires or something, i say wait it out, otherwise do the contacting lvo in 2 weeks...

Regarding your question, I recieved the same letter telling to wait for two weeks and if I don't recieve it in two weeks then I should contact lvo.

I got mine In exact 4 weeks, sent on the 26oct and recieved back with visa 22nov.
I also email Lvo on after third week but nobody responded to it, but Alhamdulillah finally I got it.

why your file is not transferred to LVO? is this a refuge case?

salam, handsup, thanks you comment on my Case. I claim in Canada convention refugee and my case has been accepted then I sponsor my family( + three kids) so I think this is family sponsor case, I am worried why cic isb did not transfer my case to another country like London uk or India . Naveed

hmm this is not like other soponsor cases, it is a sponsor by a refugee so checks and requirments would be different especially ISB is involved in it. I wish you all the best and hope you get some good news by end of this year Insha Allah

Yes inshAllah inshAllah. My husband's passport was also received on November 6th. Basically we are three of us whose passports were received on 6th of this moth. Yours, mine and Eagleman. InshAllah all the members waiting for the passport return hear the good news. Ameen

Aoa all member,
I would like to share my happiness as Alhamdulillah I have recieved back my passport with visa yesterday.
It had been 2 year and 7 months since filed my application, but Alhamdullilah finally I'm out of this stress and excited to begin a normal married life ahead.
I would like to thank all the members on the form as their posts really helped me to wait patiently and to get to know what was going on with others.

The tracking # concept has really helped me as I would describe it as a miracle for me or else I might have lost my passport.

And congratulation to all the other members who are recieving Goood news and would like to suggest to hang in there, and soon you will all be out of this' situation..
