basically these are tcs' tracking numbers... now here is the thing... when CHC ISL sends the passports back (they do it through tcs only) and tcs gets them at rawalpindi, they call to all the ppl getting their passports, so say if you get a call, you know you will be getting your passport the same day or next day (given how far away you are)... so if you are gona check these tracking numbers, all you are gonna do is pretty much disappoint yourself everyday coz your name wont be there... it will be there the day you get the call though... so why put yourself through extra torture...
probably only good thing to know from this is how active is chc on mailing out items on that particular day... are they going steady, faster, slower, etc... nothing more nothing less...

I'm basing my response on my notes that I ordered in Feb 2014 on their background checks had not been completed when I again ordered notes in Oct 2014 it stated that police check clear but will re request another police check. Also my husband is in interview queue was made aware of this from notes. No confirmation of date.
Based on the above info I'm assuming back ground checks can take 3 - 6 months depends on how much info their is to check and if it's a husband or wife case.
