Has anyone recently landed !! need information on what documents should my wife have while travelling. Is there a form she is supposed to fill and carry ? They asked for original Marriage Certificate and Birth Cirtificate but we send them to CIC when and never got them back. Also does anyone know when we get all our original documents back and on which address. ?

She just needs to have her COPR and passport with valid visa.... as long as she's travelling with less than $10000 she should b fine.... in my wife's case when she landed in March 2014 the customs officer didn't ask to see anything.... he just asked her a couple of questions to fill out her PR application...

The original documents seems to b an issue for most ppl who are recently getting their PPR's.... in my case I received mine back a year after I submitted my application.... I received them back from CPP-Ottawa at my home address in Toronto.... the process was different back then I guess.... not sure if ppl recently have had any luck getting their original documents back

This reply is generic and has been received by few other members here on the forums.

It does answer that London has not permanently taken over processing of files from Islamabad (only a temporary measure till the 33 month processing standard drops down to ... a lot less).

They are reviewing May-June 2013, yes, but never confirmed they are still applying the first-in first-out policy so that's out the doors ... we saw it coming when our files were mass transferred to Ottawa.

That is what i am doing.... there is not much i can do about anything right now... just the waiting game... like all of us!

please confirm what is long form ? as my Son is Canadian born, i sent my son's NICOP to them to add in my file so they send me above forms to fill & ask me to provide long form.
