Ok so got off the phone with the mps office..

They said the immigration people will mail me a letter within 4-6 weeks for further information? They won't enclose any info?

My file is a year old... what can this be?

Im a nikah only case.

It means they may open your file in about a month ... your Due Date could be sometime in early December or late November.

hmmmm usualy the status is updates in couple of days, you may send an email regarding inquiry of your documents received or not

you may check by courier tracking number as well wether the docs were shipped and received by someone at VO or not

Ecas status update vary ... some people are still In Process while they have already landed in Canada ... some are khushqismat enough to see the updates on ECase ...


Best bet would be inquire by email or check notes to see if they have updated ur info or not.

If you did not receive any acknowledge letter then how do you know that your file was transferred to Islamabad?

shakeel sahib, I submitted at CPC Vegreville Canada my PR application, my sponsor was approved on Nov. 13, 2013 and CPC Vegreville sent me letter that your family members case will continue inprocess in Islamabad Pakistan , we sent your family sponsor application to Islamabad pak for forther process. After that I did not hear any thing from cic isb pak. I have received my Permanent residence in Canada on augest 2014. I hope you understand . Thanks. Naveed

shakeel sahib, I submitted my PR application at CPC Vegreville Canada my PR and my sponsor application was approved on Nov. 13, 2013 and CPC Veg revile sent me a letter that your family members case will continue inprocess in Islamabad Pakistan , we are sending your family sponsor application to Islamabad pak for forther process. After that I did not hear any thing from cic isb pak. In Canada I have received my Permanent residence on augest 2014. I hope now you understand that why I am worried?. All applicant have received acknowledgement from cic but I have not receive any thing. After moving every file is rerute to another office like London uk or India etc, but my file is sitting yet in isb pak because today I have received a mail from cic London uk that your file is not in process at our office, you contect to cpc vegreville Canada. I would say so ... if you are ruksati only they may ask you reasons why ruksati hasn't been performed. Be ready for provide proof of relationship (ongoing) since the time u submitted the application till the date you get the letter... and any other documents like repcc or schedule A forms etc etc.
