I am applying for a TRV for my spouse and wanted to purchase medical insurance for the duration of the visit and attach that as part of the application.

Does anyone have any suggestions or experience on which insurance provider i should approach and how much it should cost/per month?

Thank you.

TRV for spouse doesn't have the requirement for medical insurance its only for Super Visa of grand parents..!! That's what I know , anyone can correct me.

I think trv does have that requirement for health insurance. When i applied my husband purchased it although trv application got rejected.

I am talking about 2012 onward... yes that,s crucial that 2010,2011 and even older cases are yet in the queue.

Dint any one applied for PM/ or sent email to them? where are the files on those cases? transferred to LVO or at Isb?

Hi all,

I have receieved email from LVO today. It says send passport copies and information chart to Lodongon office. It is PPR2 , but information chart is missing in the email. The only attachemnet in the email is a 4 page document which include photo specifictaion, original passport request sending detail to Islamabad and return address label etc etc but i dont anything saying information Chart.

Please help me what is Information Chart, where I can find this ???? did they miss to attach information chart in the email. Should I contact LVE to send me Information chart??? What do i do now???

Help will be highly appreciated.

Thanks

email them and say that kindly attach the ppr 1 attachment (updated information chart) simple as that... its nothing rocket science, very simple and basic... when you get to it it will take 5 minutes in all to get over the ppr1 process/email... best of luck...

here is a link https://www.scribd.com/doc/245008686/abcd to the updated information chart, fill this out and send color attachment of the applicant's passport page 2 & 3 (where their photo is) to london visa office... do step two exactly after the number of days mentioned in their email... be it 15/30 etc... hope this helps....

While it is not the requirement for TRV to get medical insurance, it sure does make your case stronger (still no guarantees though).
Besides, bringing your spouse on TRV to Canada without any medical coverage does put you and spouse at risk. You may be saving a few hundred dollars in insurance, but God forbid if medical care is needed during that peiod, you are looking at spending thousands.
When I had applied for my wife's TRV last year, I bought travel insurance from Ontario Blue Cross. Cost was about $75-$90/month with no prior health conditions. The TRV was approved and I had the peace of mind when she was here.
