I married last year and i am planning to sponsor my husband before December 2014 who is in Pakistan. I havent received any option C and i filed my tax return of 2013.. I wanna know can I still file sponsorship for my husband? And tell me some more about C. Can I file without Option C ?

Foreign Divorce Recognition

Does anybody know about a lawyer in Ontario who can provide a letter of legal opinion for foreign divorce, in case if you did not live in the country one year preceding the divorce then they can decide about the recognition of divorce based on fact if you have strong ties with place, I have a detailed proceeding, need a lawyer who can recognize a foreign divorce in Canada. A good professional lawyer anybody knows about?

You need to request CRA to send you the option C printout [it is not the same as notice of assessment]. Call CRA at 1 800 959 8281 and ask them to mail your option c printout for immigration, they would know what to do.
You will need these three pieces of information over the phone:
Social Insurance Number.
Date of Birth.
Amount of Income you reported on Line 150 of your most recent taxation year.

i told you to called them , i also suggested some tips on how to catch IOM via telephone, but u ignored....
anyhow check ur schedule again, 4th Nov would be 9th or 10th Muharram and will be the public holiday..

Do I need a polio vaccination Certificate before leaving Pakistan, If yes then what is the Procedure to get it from Lahore ... . Please suggest me Thankyou.

fizz1234 I had submitted my NOA and CIC approved me, I think NOA could very well substitute for option C printout.

I try to recommend what is in the official guide/instructions, don't want to advise something that worked for someone and then the person following my advise gets delayed for couple of months because of me[the wait is already way long]

I get it why they would accept NOA as well, since its all tied up to CRA. As everything with CIC and Pakistani applications all I have to say ....WaAllah u Allam what works and what doesn't , what they accept and what they don't and how they process these application is a mystery same as who killed JFK.

Thanks alot i would be really thankful if u can tell me that in chart do u i need to fill the spouse / partner portion too or just the principle applicant ?
My husband is sponsoring me so do i need to enter his pp no n eye color etc on chart too?

only the principal applicant, and if any one who is accompanying them for the reason of immigration (for example ur kids, if ur husband is ur sponsor and is coming to only bring you back with him then dont put his info... etc)

its available at all airports right after the boarding section.... (or ask at the airport)... its free of charge and take 2 minutes...

option C is not any rocket science, call and request it as per fizz1234's post, simple as that, you will get it to you in 2-3 business days...
