I posted this elsewhere however that thread seems to be going nowhere these days....hope someone can help me out here
Hi, I hope someone can guide me on this. I am almost ready to submit this spousal sponsorship package to hopefully be reunited with my hubby ..... in the next 2-3 years Sad
I have a few important questions to help me finish this up for submittal!! Please help if you can, I would be so grateful!
For the Generic Application Form for Canada, the section where he needs to provide my info, it requests a National Identity Document. I have listed my passport info in the section before this. What should I provide as a my National Identity Document?? I have a Canadian citizenship card however it does not list any issue/expiry dates. There is just a number on the front of the card. Any advice?
For the Residency Questionnaire, question 14 asks about any family members in Canada who might provide financial support to the applicant and sponsor upon their arrival in Canada. The thing is I am my husband's sponsor and I already live and work in Canada. So should I provide a letter explaining this very fact and attach my letter of employment (with employer details) as proof?
For the Education Background/Work Experience Questionnaire, it states it is to be completed by applicants who claim children to be dependants over 22 years of age. —So between the two of us we have no children and no one over 22 years old who we claim as dependants. Does that mean he does NOT need to fill this form?
Sorry if I am asking questions with obvious answers, at this point, I am quite paranoid and don't want to mess this up - thanks so much. Huh
