No .. what one person did was he went to medical centre in their city (lahore i believe) and asked for an appointment and explained how ISB isn't responding .. he/she got it.

Nope. That's a lie. That medical centre is 5 mins away from my house as I live in garden town. I went in there the day I received the email because the Islamabd office was closed then too. The lady said that they(Islamabad office) are the ones who send us the request and there's no way possible that you can get it done directly from here.

I sent an email to canmedpk for a remed appointment on Aug 18th.I haven't heard anything from them yet? Has anyone heard from them lately?

Application moved to london 24 feb 2014 ( from notes)

My suggestion to you is DO NOT BOTHER CIC about your moving. As you have CSQ just get your visa let her land in QUEBEC and stay in Quebec for 6 to 8 weeks because

1st--It is much easier to apply and get your important documents like

Medical card
SIN Card
Most important ...Permanent Residence Card

Once you get these documents you can leave for any province.

If you want to move now you can go but keep one address in Quebec to get your documents after she arrives here. You can give any of your friend or relative address where your documents will be mail. The reason why you should do like this because you applied from Quebec she will come in QUEBEC you will apply in Quebec for Documents and you will get in Quebec. After its very easy to change your documents in any province.

its really hard man.. first you wait for more than one year for remed and then u have to wait for medical appointment

You said stay in Quebec for 6 to 8 weeks when in fact it takes 3 months to get a medical card. If you move to another province you must wait another 3 months for a Medical Card. While a (SIN) Social Insurance Number you can get in any province it doesn't matter how long you live there as long as you have a PR Card.

micmoc101... You are 100% right. One has to complete consent form for MP OFFICE if you inquire through MP office.

Thank you I gave you a +1. I don't know what's wrong with some people to think I would give false info. The cases for 2013 on this forum seem to forget that CIC Immigration can send all case files back to Islamabad if they have overcome the workload. Or they can send them to another country where they have more Visa Officers.......... It all depends on the workload. Even right now all the Embassies are speaking about moving out of Pakistan with all this demonstration going on.

Also the ones on the forum are not only the ones who have applied for Immigration out of Pakistan as there are thousands who are not members on the forum..........

I pray the process goes faster for all as any amount of time away from your spouse is the hardest and the ones having children thinking it will speed up the process is wrong. As CIC Immigration could care less if your pregnant and that is a true fact.

They are dealing with files and read thousands of files a week so it tends to make you think that its only your file that is important when in fact Visa Officers are dealing with thousands of cases not only a handful...........
