As waiting 110 said, only few cases are medically exempt. Majority of cases are approved after 2nd re-medical.

In my opinion, they dont ask for the medical request in FC1 cases (spousal case)

so just call IOM and get a date from them to get the medical done.

Name: IOM Migration Health Assessment Center
Telephone: +92-51-111-466-472

call them with the husband's passport , they ask for the pp no. when they give you the appointment date. ( they may also ask your UCI )

Things are looking brighter for Pakistani spousal cases. Ever since Islamabad has been deprived of spousal cases.

London time at the moment sits at 11 months (anxious to see what will happen at the quarterly update).

At the moment only minimal cases are back-logged at Islamabad not all of them. Majority where transferred to London back in Feb 2014.

Hope for the best, expect the worst.

Good luck.

Thank you.
I have heard all 2013 cases are directed to LVO within a month or two. From there the London visa processing time applies i.e 9 months.
All other cases before 2013 are in backlock in Isb Visa office.

2013 ones may find faster processing time.

Best of luck to all...

they doo .. there are only a few lucky people who's case get completed within 12 months other wise id say 99% of the visas come after remed .

I agree with you completely, its just what i meant by "they" was the doctors who do the medical, not the visa office.

Hello all,
Here is an update of our case.
We ordered GCMS notes last month.
Today when I got them,
Alham Du Lillah i saw notes from visa officer approving our case and giving positive cooment s a out our marriage (of course its genuine marriage with our Two Canadian born sons).
In the notes visa officer JC01774 has updates
his notes on 17june and
Assigned to KM9083 with due date july 17.
In assessment the criminality is also written :In progress while in the
Two months previous notes the criminality was not started.
Also in yhe latest notes officer said that "PLEASE EXEMP RELEASE UNDER
ATI ACT 16(1).
Also saying that
Cost recovery paid: RPRF Outstanding
Meds: In Progress, will cancel and ussue new meds.
Foss check done.
FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS REQUESTED:

Updated forms
Updated p/c
B/C of children (long forms)
Copy of sponsor ppt with entry exit stamps
Post wedding pics
.
Plz reply why even after two months we didnt get any letter or email from cic even though in the notes the officer has asked to send medical and add doc request.

Contact MP and ask him to find case status.
They will let him know if something is awaited from you?
Looks like they sent request and you did not receive yet or missed ?
MP is good in these kind of inquiries.

A question. Do MP's have a way to find the case status before 30 days or like us they have to wait 30 days also to get any info on the case. My MP seems reluctant to do anything, I saw him couple of weeks ago and we was saying wait at least 20 months before he can do anything as the timeline has reduced from 32 months but still should be around 20.

Salam Everyone

IMPORTANT:

PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST NOTES EVERY MONTH

I talked to my lawyer and he said if you order notes, it does tell you your timeline but may in fact delay your file swell.

As for the Notes they are in OTTAWA, the file is sent from London to OTTAWA and then the notes are issued and sent to the user

the file is sent back again to LONDON. The whole process takes a month.

You should order Notes once a year that is what my lawyer said. Everyone who applied should know that it takes 30 months for the whole process, in some rare cases the process takes a year and some bad cases it takes more then 36 months. So my Brothers and Sisters please be patient and pray.
Everything is done according to the will of ALLAH, when the time is right.

PLEASE SHARE THIS INFO, I don't want any of your process to delay further.

everything is done electronically now .. there is no such thing as touching the physical file to extract the notes!

This is what my lawyer told me, he said that average time takes about 30 months so if you do want to order notes, you can do so once a year. as we order the notes it shows up on our file as well how many times have we ordered GCMS notes.

The file is usually just sitting around and is not touched as everything is done on first come first serve basis.

ordering notes every month will do no good.

Ordering notes is something that has absolutely no impact on your file. Generally lawyers avoid doing this step, because the applicant or the sponsor can easily order this on their own, which as a result kinda diminishes the value added in by the lawyer him/herself. Mind you, the notes are ordered under the Right To Information Act, and no one can hold it against you if you order them. Your lawyer is probably just trying to come up with an excuse to do some added work. However, it is advisable to give a gap of at least 30-45 days before you order them again. Hope this helps!

these mps and lawyers are useless .. i remember my MP telling me end of 2012 or maybe early 2013 that Ottawa is introducing a pilot program and it will process cases faster blah blah blah while early 2012 files were sitting in Ottawa .. I had more information about the case as compared to my MP!

Lawyers are good Liars.

They know how to work around things.

Sorry to say, but you're paying your lawyer to lie to you.
