Hi..these are the requirements for LVP. You also need to apply for a citizenship certificate for your baby.

Canadian citizenship certificate form (CT0001e)
2 identical pics, signed by photographer and dated
Original Birth certificate
Original B-form or Family registeration certificate
Nikkah nama original with translation english
Fee of 75 (pay it online attach reciept)
Child Parent proof of citizenship (birth certificate or the citizenship card) Original

Limited validility passport:

Fee $100 (can pay at embassy via visa)
Child passport PPTC-042
2 Photograps according to passport canada protocol signed dated and stamped by gurantor
Proof of Canadian citizenship certificate (applied or in process)
Airplane ticket reservations
Good reason why you want urgent travel doc (LVP that is)
Passport photocopies attested (mom dad and gurantor)
pptc-116 filled out
pptc-445 filled out

It's almost same as mine as we both got married on the same day (I know it sound so old school. lol)therefore applied on the same date. Our file numbers are same to except the last digit; mine is 7 and his is 9. So if I get any email from embassy in the morning , he gets it in the evening or if he get it in the morning I get it shortly after. We both applied December 2011. He got PCC request on Oct-2013---Remed- May 7th 2014--- PPR 1 on June 10th I guess. Now we both are waiting for PPR2.

I was just going to inbox you and ask if you received PPR 2 as yet. You should definitely email LVO and inquire and tell them that your 6 weeks are up but you haven't heard from them yet.

Hey Thank you for the concern. No, I haven't heard back from them.However, i emailed them this morning. I think I am the only one who did not hear anything back after 6 week's time.Literally!

I hope for the same too! And yeah it's bit different but mostly we both get correspondence the same day.
Oct 2nd 2013, I was requested remed and Pcc. He was requested only PCC and some other additional forms.
Feb 2014. Both files were transferred to London.
May 7th 2014, I got PPR1 and he got re-med.
June 10th he got PPR1.
