salam members..
I have a question, if we have to order notes and inquire about our file , is it customary for the applicant only to apply for these both things??? or the person sponsring can do this as well???
As i said before that my husband ordered notes two times but we didnt get them, and also my husband emailed london three times to inquire about my file but no response... so i was wondering being the applicant whether i should be inquiring abt my file not my husband?? Do they respond and reply to applicant only or person sponsoring as well?? because when we filed my application my husband gave them his email address and last year we got remedical request at his email address.. so i need help please if someone can clear this out. because i want to email london again for file inquiry n was thinking to clear this fuss out before that.
so please reply.
thanks.

Only a Canadian citizen or PR can request notes directly from CIC's website. Email provided while ordering notes does not matter as it is just an email address that you[the applicant] have given consent to release the information while completing the consent form.
Your husband will need to send email assuming they only reply to the email address that they have on file.

yes we have done all that including that consent form and husband email address being on file,, but it still doesnt make any sense why r they doing this to me by not responding for a single time... am i that unlucky :'( this is what keep coming into my mind. atleast having some idea abt ur file gives u some satisfaction.
May b we should make the material of our inquiry email more dramatic in order to get some sort of response from london.. :( whether its positive or not atleast they should be responding to us,,

I don't know where you sent the request regarding update on your notes. But this is what I did when I didn't receive the notes in 30 days last month.

I sent an email to:ATIP-AIPRP @ cic.gc.ca
