CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2012 -2013

I am shakeel and i applied for my wife in may 2013 and got confirmation of file received, approved and transferred to Islamabad in june 2013.


i want to ask you few questions
As they mentioned in the letter that file has been transferred to Islamabad so my file is in islamabad or in London?

2nd How to contact to london visa office and get confirmation that my file is in london. If it is.

3rd.After that confirmation letter in june 2013 i heard nothing from any visa office. Is it normal?

My wife;s medical has been expired in april 2013 and nothing got for remed.

Can you please give me information about anything happening with my file according to your info?

you should email London or order notes to know where your file is. I didn't receive anything from them that my file is transferred so I email them and order notes. btw I didn't hear anything from them after May so it seems like normal. order notes bro!

I never received letter or notification when they transfer to London. my MP office told me it was in London

2nd How to contact to london visa office and get confirmation that my file is in london. If it is.

I sent them email here and they confirmed they had my file. I also sent in voluntary info here

yes its normal. customer service is not CIC's best suit. my MPs office can help you get status update if you haven't heard for one 1 year. try your MP.
also tell you MP you are really worried that the processing times for Islamabad in general.

don't think so unless you are receiving the special EI benefits i.e. parental from Service Canada (they can be fun to deal with as well )



parental na sehi how about maternal? I know someone who were on EI and left for few months and still is getting her EI. ???

of course maternal as well. my work allows the paternal to be taken either by mother or father. usually if both parents work you can take both sequentially. most employers make sure you get 70% of your normal pay. regular EI only ensures you upto 50% of 48k which is 24k.

well I stopped regular EI when I left and restarted it I came back. it still made them very upset that I didn't inform them of leaving canada. so they will be really upset if some is taking regular EI and is out country

Has anyone got their passport back with visa? My husband sent his passport on may 19 received by isb on 20 may bt he didnt receive it back yet. I gave birth to a baby girl on saturday her father is so desperate to see her. Plz pray he gets his passport back asap

seriously, I agree with you...cant get time to visit my husband because of the job, but if you were on EI, you can visit your husband for a while, cant you?

No i was not receiving EI infact i didn't apply for it because i was not having enough information and was scared that if it will effect my husband sponsorship....
So i thought to scarifies and used by savings for bright future.
Actually i didn't have authentic resources for information either that was also the reason.

hmmm generally our community is not informed of programs available to us and our rights.

it wont be bad idea to start getting informed before our spouses here i.e. on learning languages (English & French), finding work, upgrading education (OSAP), getting DL, child care programs, child benefits

Canada is our home need to be less fearful

Hopefully Insha' Allah, tired of waiting, look like we ended up with the worst visa officer again RG was mine from Isbad.

Today seemed like "remed" day.

In sha Allah tommorow could be PPR-1 day.

Hopefully its me with my group members (Jan feb mar 2012)

Surprised to know that my file is also transferred to LVO. it was complete silence from CHC-ISB, and i thought to check with LVO and they replied positively. hope to see they work fast. :

how did you contact london? In how many days you got reply?

Getting Canadian TRV is more than ever harder now, even one can get immigration but cant get TRV.
Buy you can always hit and try.
Its all upto your circumstances.
