I hope they do not use a rule of thumb to see pictures of lavish ceremonies as not everyone can afford or may like too many ceremonies. I was strongly against holding a lavish wedding and convinced my inlaws to held a simple wedding as per islamic way but now I am thinking if every VO is using the same benchmark for everyone.

May Allah make this process easy on everyone.

onething i want to tel you thak our wedding wass so simple mehnadi and obtan ceremonies held in our home and nikkah was also so simple just ma husband and families come and we do few ramsam with 50 ppl and then we do our honey moon and thats it yes we send our rukhsatii pics ,post wedding pics

i emailed islamabad and Ottawa 2 days ago and today i got reply from ottawa..
it says
"Dear Sir/Madam

Our office confirms that your application is going through the required assessment process.
Please note that we cannot confirm when your file will be ready for finalization at this moment.

Please ensure when submitting documents that they are still valid and will not expire within 6 months as this could delay your application.

We appreciate your patience and keeping correspondence with our office to a minimum. In order to process request efficiently, we will not be responding to duplicate requests.
