Salam. Have any of you guys/gals noticed that London Visa Office is no longer sending automated reply (system generated) which says your query will be replied within 28 calender days? I emailed London last month a few attachments of which I didn't receive their confirmation of receipt email (which is system generated).

Anyone in the same boat?

I submited few documents and got an automated email plus they send me 2 email in a week that they have got my address change and updated my file. may be ap k hisey ki email bhi mujhy ekr di ;D

Actually, this is what I posted yesterday.
Have a question:
I sent my additional documents voluntarily to LVO by using portal last week and got an email from them that they have receieved my doucments and update my address, good fine...but today again I have got another same email from them for an inquiry i did on may 9th which I didnt....that they have receieved my doucments and update my address.

btw on the email there is a guy name showing Asim Farooqi (now who is he??) anyone else got 2 email from them (usually we evn dont get 1) and anyone know this guy name mr. farooqi?

why don't you try emailing them back and let them know they emailed the wrong person

Both will result in the same scripted response "that your file is in process/london and we will contact you if required". Doing this via portal may give you a quicker response but the same scripted one. You will not get any detail response unless your file is actually in process under a visa officer and when that happens they will just ask for your remed/pcc/ppr etc instead of replying to your queries.
Order notes for updates, that is the only,concrete way to know what is going on with your file.

Thanks.. They mentioned in email that visa when issued will expire in July so send passport as soon as possible

Meri file 2013 January me transfer hoi thi.os ke bad se ab tak khamoshi hai.no email nothing.
To kia yeh normal hao ya should I contact them via email about the progress?
