We are total of 5 family members. Our medicals were done only once and that was done in Nov,13.

I have afghan friend who sponsored his wife in December 2013 and his file was transferred to New Delhi

Last week his wife recieved e-mail asking to submit police clearance certificate

Are you implying that his case is going extremely fast? I find this hard to believe and is it possible that they asked him for PCC because he didn't properly submit one with his application package to begin with? If New Delhi is going to speed things up this much then it is great news for sure since an Afghan friend of mine also needs to submit his application and I can relay this information to him.

The most recent communication was when they sent me an email regarding my original docs and confirming my mailing address. I confirmed mailing address Beginning of March and still have not received my originals. At this point I am considering writing a letter to Stephen Harper and letting him know that me along with at least 1000 people will not be voting for conservatives in the next federal election.

Its been exactly 2 years today since they received the application to sponsor my husband when is this insanity going to end. Feeling extremely sad and depressed today that 2 years of our marriage have passed by and I have barley gotten to see my husband. A special duaa comes out from my heart today that me, and everyone else who is waiting for their spouse get their passport requests and visas soon! Ameen

Prepare a draft with your story and email it to
The Prime Minister and Minister of immigration stating that you will not
be voting for conservative government in next election.

Send it to NDP's Leader as he is opposition leader and he will be
more interested in current goverment's governance flaws and scandals.
Also send it to Liberal Party's leader as during their tuneur the wait time
for Islamabad was 6 months only.
All it takes will one email draft and sending it multiple receipients.
Let the NDP leader know that we will vote for for them if they raise a voice for us.
Can you write two paragraphs for the love and sake of your family reunion ???

The more E-mails they get the better chances they will know there is a real issue.
And we all have different personalities, so God knows who's words will touch their heart.

Hi, could someone please clarify something for me: so, if the files are not being sent straight to an abroad visa office but instead are sitting In Ottawa and are waiting for transfer, will then these files be sent chronologically from Ottawa to isl or nd(my husband is afghan)? I am asking because I filed application in jan2013 and in feb 2013 I got confirmation letter from Mississauga that I am eligible and that they will send it to ISL. However until now it does not say IN PROCESS in ecas, but from what I have read here, some people who filed after me got a response from ISL. Could it be that it is still in Ottawa, even though some people who filed after me got a response from isl?
I would just hope that Ottawa is sending the files in order, like whoever submitted first will be transferred first. Can anyone help on this? Thanks...

Idk how to explain but now files of Afghan applicants are going to New Delhi visa officer. Just for ex i applied in oct 2012 .. Got sponsorship approval in nov 2012 .. In my gcms notes i found out that my file actually transferred to Isb in june 2013 and now its in London starting feb 2014 ..
