Files are being transfered due to "work-overload".

If new files are being transfered along with old ones. Then chc-islamabad has no work. Let alone the overload...

CIC has officially declared London office for processing of spousal cases of Pakistani residents. News of the day. Check their website. I think it is a very good thing for us.

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Your wife should tell them that this is the first medical that you need to submit with your application. Once she tells them they will give her appointment. She needs her passport I think and two passport size photos. When you call for an appointment they also tell you what to bring for the appointment.
Thanks for clarifications. My wife called again today and got an appointment, this time someone more responsible picked up the call and everything went smooth.

One more question: What proof they will provide for this medical. Some kind of receipt which I will attach to my application??.

And just curious, where do they send these medical reports, London, New Delhi or direct to Canada??

Thanks again for reply

Guys,

I have mixed feelings after hearing the news of London office being declared for processing FC cases of pakistani nationals.

I'm happy off course because I'm about to file my brand new application that will go direct to London which is better then ISB for sure. At the same time, I'm little confused as well because London office took full 3 years to process my FSW application in fast track, which was supposed to be completed in 1 year, or 8 months to be precise. With this in mind, IMO this is just a change of visa office, timeline will remain the same (32 months) for us. I may be wrong and would like to have inputs from you guys on this.

Also, I would really appreciate and welcome any suggestions, opinions and help from you guys to make my application look more appealing and accurate.

Thanks

I think you guys should read the GCMS notes email a little bit more thoroughly. It explains that they WILL NOT release ALL the information about the file. so they might be doing security checks behind our backs and we wouldn't know.

The processing of your request is now complete and I am pleased to enclose the documents requested. Certain information qualifies for exemption pursuant to section(s) 15(1) International affairs and defence of the Access to Information Act.

So EVERYTHING isn't included in our GCMS notes.

How is trv and student visa the samething? One is for visiting and the other is for studying. A visa officer knows the he/she has applied for spousal visa and that their optimal goal is to become a PR. Which basically means they are there for permanent residency. Student visa is for education, whereby an indiviual is supposed to study and return to their homeland. Not land in Canada and kill time in the name of education.

Trv is for visiting, many are rejected some accepted. VO knows that we applied for PR. Unfortunately, they have to give a few visa's. Whereby, they make money. For rejection and acceptance.

If a spouse gets ppr, you think he/she will finish her 3yr course at a university paying international fees?. No, they drop the course and degree come back to pakistan and get their visa stamped. That will have an effect on the university and immigration Canada. They want stable income for 3-4yrs for international students. What they don't want is a married spouses who are killing time and will bounce as soon as they get ppr.
Good point, need reconsideration before applying student visa.

As Canada wants to make money$ from visitors/international students.

Thanks
