Does anyone know if they would grant a visit visa to my husband if I am studying here in Canada? I don't have any proof of income but would I be able to show financial support from my parents? I am in school so that is why I can't go to Pakistan and would like if he could come visit me. Legitimate enough or do I need a better reason?

ok guys. I am writing up the petition as i promised. I am almost done. Please reply to this post anything you might want to mention. Please make this list in bullet form. Anything from tired of waiting, no communication, don't where file is, reasons for delay if you've recvd any from officials (e.g- security issues, too many applicants, not enough officers in Islamabad, or anything else)

All info will help

unfortunately, as far as ive experienced, its a long shot. But if i was to still apply, Have a more solid reason then i cant go because im a student and would like for him to come visit me. Can u imagine how many pakistanis we would have in Canada if that was the case..lol

i was reading a link where it was stated that the processing time for visa depends upon the visa office means our files are transferred to LOndon visa ofice so our files are processed according to the LONDON office timeline that is 10 t o12 months....someone from august 2013 case received a PCc AND interview request in FEB after 8 from london visa office ....and waiting for the PPR

We r already at 24th month n 10-11 months moreee? Its horrible

If that was the case, all files that were transfered to Ottawa in early 2012 should have been approved in 10 months. Not still waiting after 26 months. Time will tell, links and people can say whatever they want. There is no gurantee's for pakistani's....

And how can we know that where is our file is in Islamabad or London visa office? And why they change the thing that files or transferring to London ? What's the reason . please reply me . thank you

Walikumsalam. Yes, at least 2013 cases are ... no one has an idea how much time it will take. Members, myself included, simply share our opinions how much longer it will take ... actual time taken will of course vary depending on the visa officer. I play conservative and stick with 32 month timeline ... even when I saw my file go to Ottawa and then to London ... because our PRIMARY Visa Office remain Islamabad.
