Yep, I think they transfer files in batches. There is a few other members who have applied in Oct/Nov/Dec and all their files were transferred in July. Have you called CIC to see where you file currently is? Apparently mine has been kicked over to New Delhi -_-

USA spousal case timeline is 30 months.

protesting is a waste of time - CIC will say files were sent to london to speed things up.

many of us have been waiting for over 2 years now. hopefully london will help cut the timeline.

saying that protesting is a waste of time is a waste of freedom you have as a Canadian. Personally, i dont think anyone is going to be protesting in Ottawa. Although i am currently working on a petition on Change.org. Once i have it up and ready i will post the link. All you have to do is E sign it. we would require many signatures to make a difference and bring attention to our cause. If you're ok with waiting 32 months and find it acceptable, then you can wait all you want. The rest of us want our spouses. It doesn't matter how long US takers, they have a population 10 times as much as Canada.

You can, but it will most likely be rejected on the grounds that you won't leave Canada when your student visa expires (as your spouse is here). Such is the work of CIC................

alright. thanks!:)
