1) why u dint live together?

rukhsati dint held, wont b a gud answer please advice, what u wrote,

2) y dint the reception held?

m planing to do reception in canada as my 2 sis n father wasnt there on nikah ceremony. please advice appropiate answer please.

Mine is Nikkah Case just like yours and answered those question similar to yours. Although I had more than 400 guests on my Nikkah and all the possible proofs were sent with the application. They put me in interview que and I am still waiting for my date of interview. I am Feb 12 applicant, now you are the best judge. Nikkah only most probably will be going for interview. Hope this will help.

I will advise tell them the tentative month of Rukhsati and Reception. Otherwise they will put you in interview queue and long waiting time for you. When we were asked when Rukhsati will be held then we responded at the time visa arrival. There were three hundred invitees in my Nikkah . I visited every year after Nikkah and we submitted proof of communication. Even then they put us in interview queue. We knew about this through GCMS notes and later we decided not to wait for visa and get it done asap. Finally my wife got visa and she landed in Feb 2014. After submitting Rukhsati proofs within three months she got visa. Alhamduliah. So, please get the rukhsati done asap and dont try to dodge a question. No Ruksati then Interview queue or possible refusal letter because marriage is not genuine etc and long long waiting time. Some people on forum might say Rukhsati has nothing to do with visa. Absolutely wrong. Take a advise from Lawyer if not sure.

That's what it seems like...they work in mysterious ways...don't know what they have up their sleeve this time. I asked whether the India timeline will apply and was told to contact NDVO for that info. Useless

i did the same and they said they dont have access to any such kind of information. what could possibly be the reason? any idea?

some timesrepresentatives are not cooprative may be trying again to have another good representative. or order gcms notes for your satisfaction

You just have to push them to do it for you. The agent I spoke to was hesitant at first as well and told me if I hadn't received any letters, my file would still be in Islamabad as that is the VO which process cases for Afghanistan. But I kept saying that I knew several people who hadn't received any letters and when they had called CIC, they were told that their files had been transferred to ND or London, so he finally agreed to check. Just be very calm and don't give up lol they do have the authority to check it so just be persistent.

Mine was also Nikkah only case too, what we did is we honestly told CIC everything in a cover letter that we have done only Nikah and we have plans to do rukhsati in feb 2014 when my immigration processing is near to be completed and we will also send you proof of our rukhsati later. So when I sent my rukhsati pictures I received PPR after 10 days.
