Quick Question!!

How to send money from Pakistan to Canada legally????? can we send it through Western Union or Money Gram....

open a foreign currency account in Pakistan .. most likely USD .. then transfer RS to USD then send to Canada once here they (bank people) will convert to CDN$..

she is laughing (lolling in your term) coz you made remittance process really difficult for that guy instead he can just send it through western union or money gram which is 100% legal. Even Chc also asks for western union receipts if you ever send money to your spouse.

yea I m going TO Canada for good this time.. Today my husband got another email to fill out form imm 1017, related to medical..

will he get the visa soon, maybe in 6 to 8 months? Wud my going to Canada effect our process??

what i was thinking... it should be pskistani style as our cases get processed here..

$1040 for nomal application which can take upto 32mnths.

or

$5000 for urgent application which can take upto 2 to 3mnths.

just making myself happy

Dear All Salam;

I was from pioneer member of this forum for CHC Timeline 2012-2013;initially i was very active but to synchronize my self with CHC timeline became silent reader of this forum;anyhow my wife received fax letter from immigration minister office through MP which is as under;

" The immigration office called me and fax to say that there is still no progress on your husband's file. It was approved on July 4, 2012 and sent to the visa office in Islamabad for processing, where it typically takes 32 months for processing. Because of this length of time, your husband's file was transferred to the visa office in London to see if the time can be brought down.

London received your husband's file only on February 24, 2014 and does not know yet how much longer it will take, but hopefully less than 32 months. I'm sorry I cannot make the process go faster, as you are in a queue with many others in the same situation. I will continue to check for you and will try to get another update at the end of April."

So now our files after 20 months waiting at Islamabad moved to London without any process. May Allah Help us All

While applying for GCMS notes they ask under which act are you submitting? So we have to chose access of information act, right?

Also they asked about the file type and I have 5 options
1.temporary residence ( doesn't apply)
2.immigration file permanent residence
3.sponsorship file
4.application for permanent resident card
5.citizenship file

Which of them do I have to choose? I'm confused

Also they are asking the location. Should I write isb or London? I'm confused!

Please help me! Your feedback will be highly appreciated. Thankyou!!

Haha my husband made over payment by mistake while submitting my case! Over payment of approx $300 ... CIC refund the over paid amount with AOR
