In GCMS Notes Security screening and Criminality are 2 different things or same?
If Criminality = Passed and Security screening = ?
What that means?

2 different sets.

Criminality is based on police checks.
Security clearance is from CSIS clearance. It will be hidden(not revealed) in the GCMS even when completed

1. The email requesting for additional information will include all the documents u need to submit.

2. Nikah nama, birth certificate, education documents etc ORIGINALS should have been submitted as part of the initial submission. They won't ask for it again unless u didn't include it in the initial submission. The email will tell u exactly wut they need.

3. The email will tell u exactly what address to submit it to. If u go to TCS office n tell them its for CHC they will know exactly where it needs to go.

4. TCS is best way cuz they already have a relationship with CHC-ISB. They are aware of exactly where the documents need to be sent. They will also give u a tracking number n send u text messages when ur package is submitted. So definitely stick to that.

5. There won't b anything from the embassy. The only way to know is from the tracking number u get from TCS. U can send an email requesting whether they received it but they will respond to it 2 months later.

6. U won't get PPR right away. IF they are satisfied with the info u submitted they will then request remedical. Before remedical they may also request u to resubmit PCC (sometimes they send both remedical n rePCC requests together). After remedical there's no set timeline of how long it takes to get PPR. Some on here completed remedical in summer 2013 n still haven't received PPR. Some on this forum received PPR n submitted their passports but haven't received them back (same as my case...its been 2 months now).

Basically, follow the instructions in the email to a tee.... don't include n e thing extra or n e thing less than they require!

If u don't get an email requesting information u don't need to send them n e thing!

According to ur timeline we r in the same boat. My hubby submitted his passport on Dec 17 after his Re-med and may be ur wife submitted hers on Nov 29 or 30 after her Re-med. We both r waiting for pp return now. Let me know when ur wife get back her pp with good news. I'll update u too.

Yup I am on it.They recieved my husband'a passport in November 2013 and we are still waiting for it. Update me as well please.

Assalam o Alaikum!!
I have submitted my passport in the mid of dec now i m packing my stuff i have arnd 100 kg extra how can i take those stuff...i ask pia they told me i can only carry 2 baggage of 23 kg plus 1 extra after paying Rs.11000...what should i do?and can anyone tell me from where i can get empty boxes to paked my stuff of 62 inches dimension (Altogether L×H×W)...i m living in karachi.. PIA call center guy told me that if i m taking boxes then the dimension should not be more than 62 inches...plz guide me in this matter....

How long they take to complete this step? Do you have any idea?

U bet it is!.... standard response they're sending everyone.... others on this thread have received similar responses.... u could order ur GCMS notes to get a better sense of where ur file is.... u should've recieved the request to redo ur medical by now.... others on this thread that filed around the same time as u have received it by now... i would order ur notes to see wuts happening

I received mail from CIC-isb doesnt it mean my file is in Islamabad? And yup thats what my file transferring letter says that my file is going to ISB

Great news!... many congrats!.... one step closer... fill it out asap n hopefully u'll get ur remedical n passpot requests soon inshallah!

btw.... thats such an awesome quote u have in ur signature!....

I really feel like although this wait has been so hard n tortorous on my wife n I, its also brought us so much closer alhamd!.... from supporting each other through this difficult time our love for each other has grown n grown.... alhamdulilah!.... I realize for many the waiting takes the opposite effect on their relationships but in my case it might just b a blessing in disguise!.... I'm not trying to justify the CIC for making us wait this long.... but I'm glad to see that when its all over inshallah.... our relationship will b that much stronger from having gone through this experience n I hope the same holds true for all couples on this thread that have had to endure this....inshallah!.... especially those of u from 2010/2011.... my heart really goes out to u folks!

the letter is just a standard thing they send to everyone... but wuts been happening with most of our physical files (including mine) was that they were actually kept at CPP-Ottawa n were only transferred to Islamabad after a year of collecting dust in OTtawa.... ur notes will tell the complete story... but since the response came from Islamabad it could b that ur physical file is now in Islamabad.... I don't see any reason y it shouldn't b there by now... but since its a standard email they've been sending everyone the only way to know for sure is through the notes
