Salam everyone, I have been real busy and right now I'm about to take the Giant Step of Writ of Mandamus. Fed up with the time line and the bull they give.

I seen the MP of my area and told him I'm not taking this anymore. I said if you open your mouth and give me a false word I will take you all the way to Ottawa. I told him don't say you will help with in your mind saying here goes another. I said I'm strong enough to take you down to my level and hell with the crapo you give us all.

I'll let you know what's happening later In Sha Allah...May Allah help us all In Sha Allah....Ameen

Your doing the right thing... this is ridicolous timelines are 32 months anything beyond needs action. If I was in your place I would do the same. In Sha Allah this horrible nightmare will be over for your soon.

Here some questions to all those senior and experienced members who were asked for additional documents & they sent them to embassy.

1 : Which documents you were asked for ?

2 : Did you send photo copies of any document like nikkah nama , birth certificate or educationl degrees etc ?

3 : What is the address to send additional documents ?

4 : Is it better to TCS them or to use any other courier service ?

5 : Do the embassy respond after receiving them ?

6 : After submitting them how long 'll it take to get PPR ?

Kindly help me and guide me in the light of ur experience.

Two years back Ottawa timeline was 8 months. So 3 of ur frndz had their spouses in canada in 8 months. Very good timeline for 2012.

P.s nothing wrong with any of our files. We just not lucky like ur 3 frndz.

i again disagree with you, becoz 2 years back 3 of my frnds applied as well. and all got visa as per ottawa time, maybe some issues with ur file. hope for the best

To be honest bro, no one can really tell you. If someone does say a month or few weeks its their opinion. It depends on visa officer and his decision. Nowadays, they are all over the place following no real set time at all.
