Do you feel it helped speaking to the MP? I know it varies from MP to MP, but in my case all they did was an inquiry and sympathized with the timeline.

I applied for my husband end of July and on 28 august 2013 I received the letter that my file is been transffering to isl and i know that my file was send to ottawa not islambad now its been 5 months and i didnt heard anything till now but some people on this forum received the letter that their file is transfered to islamabad or london office for step 2 .
Now I'm getting worried cuz I heard that our files are keep in Ottawa and wahan he rehti hain sometimes.
Can you please tell me that what should I do ..can i contact Ottawa thru email or phone ya fr kya karo :'(

1.in your name (principle applicant name)
2.spouse (sponsors name)

Yeah! my home address and mailing address have been updated on ECAS at least their doing something right ;D

Maybe now they can resend me my AOR letter to the correct address.

I have something positive to finally say about our so called governments...

did you get change your pakistan address or canadian address , in my case i did change my canadian address but till now i did not information to missisuaga or isl to change address what do you think i need to inform them or not?

It's important to keep CHC updated with your address changes. CHC requests for them to be posted on these changes. You can send enquiry via the following link and they will In Sha Allah update your ECAS. This may only be used if your file is now with Islambad

BTW I only updated my Canadian Address with this. Pakistani address also needs to be updated as this is used at time of ppr

Second do they send AOR again when they actually transfer file to Islamabad? do you know if some people experience this? if they send so at which address Pakistan or canada?

Dont worry, ottawa does send files over to islamabad electronically. It takes usually more the 5 months in most cases. Nowadays, they don't send out letters that your file has been transfered. Many people come to realize about their transfer via notes. Dont break a sweat on it, they wont lose your file.

It says on their site

We received your application to sponsor Zaib Mumtaz on July 22, 2013.

We sent you a letter on August 20, 2013 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Please anyone do let me know what it says and when i will get my visa the latest update is the attorney told me that my case has been forwarded to London visa office instead of Islamabad please guide .

as i read some where in cic website They not accept address changes via email cuz their is no signature.
Its better u write a letter and sign it for changing address and attach it via email.

you then print, sign, scan and upload for notes.
