Wsalam.

I didn't take the email route, rather i just called him directly. Verbally it was alot easier to get my points through. I would recommend you find the contact number of your local mp and call him/her.

what do you mean by local MP ?

Do you feel it helped speaking to the MP? I know it varies from MP to MP, but in my case all they did was an inquiry and sympathized with the timeline.

Asslamualikum afghan0123,

I think it depends on the enquiry. Mine was pertaining to address change and received an email hours later stating We confirm receipt of your e-mail in Islamabad.

It's a form that has to be filled out and documents can be attached to it. It's very customer friendly unlike past forms that have been a nightmare to fill in.

ASyed :)

Asslamualikum,

Yeah! my home address and mailing address have been updated on ECAS at least their doing something right ;D

Maybe now they can resend me my AOR letter to the correct address.

I have something positive to finally say about our so called governments...

My husband applied in september for my spousal visa , in october he got a letter that my file is transfered to Islamabad. But now on 22 Jan 2014 he received this mail that my file is sent to London office for further process. Does anyonehave any idea that london office also process spousal visa app. Is it a good sign? How long london office will take as compare to islamabad office?

Madihakulvi.
Hi,
i read your on line message, it is good sign, that your file has been transfer to London for further process because now a days Islamabad office has lot of rush so he changed the system of cases, so because of Isb rush they send the cases now a days to another Canadian High commission or other countries. it is fact, so don't worry.I think your case will maybe completed within 6 to 8 months .ok.
best of luck.

This London file transfers from CHC-Islamabad doesn't necessarily mean it automatically falls on the London timeline. I mean many senior members will know what i'm talking about. We can all recall Cpp-Ottawa. When they added Ottawa into the mix, all the members thought "wow" this will reduce the backlog and it will help us process of files faster (Ottawa timeline was 8 months then). Slowly, each applicant realized, Ottawa wasn't there to help reduce the backlog, yet it was there as a "holding" ground. Hence, why many members will see when they order notes that, their files are being forwarded to
e-storage Islamabad after 8-12 months. It's just a method to eliminate the overflow of files into Islamabad and to reduce the risk of files being lost/misplaced. That is why Islamabad is currently the slowest visa processor in the world. Ottawa is used as the holding ground and now so is London. I was very optimistic with Ottawa, slowly i realized. Now they trying to trick you with London. Same story different name.....

London is also processing Pakistani Skilled Worker Class cases, they have a special section dealing with Pakistan-based applicants.
I think it may be different than CPP-Ott.....hopefully
