idk the activity #. I'm guessing they divide their tasks and instead of naming them, they give a # to it, so its hard for people to decode.

guess we keep waiting :(

This could be true. Because they review timelines on quarterly basis and not on month to month basis.

We should see the change once Q4 of 2013 is reviewed. I am pretty sure the numbers will change because since September I have seen a surge in processing.

I need to ask a question to Alberta residents:
I expect our application to be completed in 6 months or so. What does my hubby need to bring from Pakistan, to get a driver's license here easily and fast. Any tips shared would be greatly appreciated.

I thing ppl are mixing the international license and pakistani local license with each other. I just came to calgary three months back. You need international license to drive the car for 90 days after arrival and second thing pakistani license which need verification from Vancouver embassy and submitted to registry for exemption of 1 year learner period of GDL class 7 and 2 year of probationer period of GDL class 5. The older the license more will be chances to get exemption and good deal for insurance per month. If he can give insurance letter showing that his record was good in paksitan this will further decrease his car insurance cost per month.

I hope i have tried my best to answer ur question

Insha Allah u will get in january, Toronto insha Allah
Tcs guys has no concerned with this as they wait for chc to call them for pickup when their is no shipment for pickup. In my opinion Canadian officer are on holiday just pakistani staff are working.

What is ur suggestion sis for best palace to live with family in canada?

You should consider multiple factors not just the family/cost of living factor. One of the biggest distressing factor for new immigrants is the delay in getting back to the profession in which they have worked all their lives in their home country. Ontario and BC may be the ideal places to settle in terms of family/cost of living/Networking (Ontario) and weather (BC) but the unemployment ratio in both provinces is very high and more and more people are moving from Ontario and BC to Alberta in search of job opportunities. The Alberta weather may be harsh but once you stay here for a little longer, you get used to it and summer is generally better and dryer than BC.

So my advise would be to do more research before deciding to move to any of the province
