Parents case

I know it may not be the right forum but there is no specific thread for ISB office for parents sponsorship so I am posting my question here

My brother sponsored my parents and 2 younger brothers. Last year the file was transferred to ISB and all the additional forms etc were submitted. Since then there is no update. I heard from some people that some cases were getting updates like medical request within a year. Just want to know what is the general status if anyone of you have applied for your parents

Parents case will take average 4 to 5 yrs to complete,
if ur parents are medically fit then it will be completed in the time mentioned abov, but if they have any medical issues, cardiac, blood sugar,other severe diseases then it will take abov 5 yrs.....

Family sponsorship applicants in 2014 can look forward to streamlined processes and fast processing times across the board. This is thanks to efforts that CIC has made to prioritize the processing of family applications, thus making good on its stated commitment to family reunification. Historically, Canada has operated one of the most welcoming family sponsorship programs in the developed world, and it appears that the trend will continue in 2014.

Spousal Sponsorship

This sponsorship stream will continue accepting high levels of spouses, common-law and conjugal partners. Two major changes came into effect in roughly the last 12 months, and it is anticipated that they will remain in place for 2014. They are:

Five year sponsorship ban – An individual who has been sponsored as a spouse is banned from sponsoring another spouse in turn for 5 years after receiving Canadian Permanent Residency; andTwo year legitimate relationship regulation – Spouses or partners who have been in a relationship for two years of less, and who have no children together, will receive conditional permanent residency. They must prove that they continue to live with their spouse or partner in Canada, in a legitimate relationship, for two years before full permanent residency is received.

Because application numbers in this stream are liable to fluctuate, there is at present no cap on the number of applications that are or will be accepted. However, submitting an application as early as possible is the best way to ensure that partners are brought to Canada in the speediest way possible.

Jazak'Allah, its been 21 months since we filed our application and 17 months since file got transferred. We should be close to completion. I know the processing time was 26 months at the time I applied but I have heard the time posted now is more relevant as opposed to when we applied.

My husband medical was done in May 2013 after that no news, it's been 7 months already we r waiting for ppr , do u have any idea that they can ask for ppr before medical get expire ,?

I am wonder if chc is ipen so y their is not any parcel dispatch? Since 20 dec chc does not dispatch any parcel via tcs?

one my relevitve (is associated with CHC-IBD) met me at wedding, without telling him or giving him a hint of my case and everythini asked him '' are there any forigner workers in the embessy '' and he was like very few

and the asked him approx at what time do they return from thier holidays as he is working their for quite long ( According to my family as he is not a close reletive ) he said

aroud 15ish Jan

so i think we guys should relex

Salam this cannot be as its a Government Office from Canada and they work as it is noted and will be on the job January 02/14.December 30 and the 31st are dates they work. I know as I have held a civil job. Its a nice thought but it cannot be done.... In Sha Allah
