contacted MP he said security checks going on... we didnt receive remed request even Tired of waiting everyday even my husband is cuz he has no one in Calgary except friends

For those of you who have recently landed here in canada, Can you please share how is the experience at the airport? is it a seperate line, what do they check, any questions etc?

My wife will be coming inshallah in next couple of weeks so just want to prepare her for anything. Also i have emailed ottawa few times about my orginal documents, no response at all..what should i do?

From what i have observed over past 18 months here is that processing of the files is all based on pure luck, since files are not worked on Last in first out bases.

If your files ends up in the hands of visa officers who actually works no matter how difficult your case is it will be dealt with faster. Ottawa sends files in batches, and it depends on whoever is assinged to that batch. It looks like all the June 2012 cases were sent to a visa officer who worked quicker.. thats just my opinion.

I hope and pray to ALLAH that all of you waiting get your visa faster!...the time lost during this wait will never come back..but we have no choice.

Seriously, i thought the same. Never did i think it will take over 22 month for a straight forward wife case. Never did i think they will make me wait over. 4 months after remed. Never did i think i would see 800 pages of this forum when i joined page 1. Plus telling my wife dont worry we will hear something within a year. LOL the dreams i had.

You have only started the process.... there is still a long way to go.... By next summer if u haven't heard n e thing u should order ur GCMS notes to see whats happening with ur file.... With 2012 things got delayed due to the strike... hopefully the same won't b the case for 2013 cases.... I hope n pray for a speedy turnaround with all 2013 applications inshallah

Other than that I would say keep in regular contact with ur spouse cuz u have to build ur relationship n unfortunately it has to b over long distance.... b honest n open with ur spouse about the application process n prepare them for a long wait but remain optimistic.... I would recommend for ur spouse to get a job during this waiting period just to keep busy cuz an idle mind is never a good thing.... u should also try to go for a visit if possible

Yes, I have been preaching CHC and Luck since 2011. Don't ever try to predict CHC, they have no rules or regulations.

Please note most of the them are passport with visa (imm +trv) as remedical are being sent through email.
