No, I didn't get any request for additional documents or proofs along with remed. We had sent two additional proofs packages voluntarily beforehand though

I was a 2011 case also what I remember from 2011 cases

what ever expired first MEDICAL OR PASSPORT that was ur visa exipry date

may be they might give a extension for sometime

they must know ur medical is expiring

maybe its changed

Chasmesh thank you for your reply, but to explain my case further, i received email on nov 12, 2013 and it was just an acceptence that they received my application and they provided me the file number and uci #. And then on November 15 on ecas they mentioned that they sent me a letter about the decision made on my file, please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting cic. So they have made the decision and i dont know wat is the decision they made... Whether its just the approval or its approval plus the information that the file has been transferred to islamabad

If you choose email correspondence, CIC will use that medium in most cases. CIC sends 2 emails. The first email is the acknowledgement of receipt of application. Within 2-3 days 2nd email is sent which contains the letter as pdf attachment and therefore no letter by post is sent. You got the first email. Did you check your inbox properly? it may have landed in junk or accidentally discarded so check your junk and trash folder too

The letter just states the results of the first stage i-e sponsor eligibility and that the file has been transferred to CHC ISB (generally it goes to Ottawa first to make electronic copy)

I'm so afraid its a refusal that as soon as I think these terrible words mt heart breaks in two and I start crying ..... Oh Please Allah I beg of you that they don't refuse our case In Sha Allah..............

Yeah we mailed them through TCS to Islamabad; they were primarily pictures, copies of receipts, passport pages, tickets and text/call history/email printouts
