I used Gerry visa box in peshawar to send my wife's passport, so will i recieve her passport via DHL/fed ex from islamabad to Gerry visa box anyyooonnee please info would be appreciated

Well my friend just called and said that his wife passed her interview and they gave her the visa right after she passed the interview on the spot. May Allah also have mercy on us and give our wives and husbands visa as well. Inshallah Allah willing it will happen as i write this Info.

Do you know the reason of interview? Nikkah only case or something else if you know of ?

Interestingly I got a CD from CIC - ATIP department. It's like 400 odd pages with all forms, documents, and additional document I sent with the file.

I may have requested it back in September and it did take more than 30 days lol ... probably around 2 months BUT it helped me clear my doubt that I may have missed a couple of pages of the application. So it was very re-assuring to see all complete documents/forms on that CD (.pdf format). It is also helpful if you guys send in additional documents (like tons of them) and wish to ensure these have been added to the file. The alternate is to order GCMS notes and see under 'Incoming Correspondence' to ensure these have been added; however, graphical representation of the documents is always better (longer wait time though)

Will this impact the "supposed" First Come First Serve policy of CIC? Wallaho Aalam ... but from what I understand Islamabad works off from electronic application and the only time they refer to paper is when they request additional documents to be sent to them.

Yes, just the forms (including medical form), documents, pics, screenshots etc ... but not the Visa Officer comments, progress, notes, or anything related to that.

I do not think so its true cuz i stayed in pakistan from june 3 13 to sep 13 13
So i spent over 3 months.. Everything was fine Allhamdulillah...
If u can afford and u have time while ur case is in process go and c ur spouses ....

it's not that you cant, its that you shouldnt stay for too long because you will be suspected of having no intention to live in Canada, so why are you sponsoring your spouse. visiting for a little while is fine.

On 25th November I got PPT request. Went to the embassy in person on 26th. After waiting for about 30-45 minutes they returned the passport with visa and a letter that I will have to show Immigration authorities on my arrival there. Flight is booked for Monday. I wish you all a speedy process with your applications!

My file transfered in September 2012 n after that nothing happened I just wait wait n wait.....
