I stayed first tim for 6 months and after I applied I want back again for 5 months. I don't think it matters. I applied in June 2012 and got ppr in nov 2013.

Really I can't believe this when u sponsored ur husband how long u stay in Canada?r u citizen or Pr?did ur husband get visa?now r u in Canada?when ur husband got remedical request??when ur file transfered to Islamabad? ?

Hello Everyone:

I sent my Application to Mississauga Case Processing centre on Oct 27th, 2013 and there received the application on Oct. 29th, 2013.
On Nov 12 i received an Email from CIC, That they received my Application on Oct 29, 2013 and they also allotted UNI # and file # which was mentioned in the email.

On November 15, 2013 when I checked eCAS online, it says

Sponsorship Application Status : Decision Made
(1. We received your application to sponsor xxxxxx xxxxx on October 29, 2013.

2. We sent you a letter on November 14, 2013 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.)

Permanent Residence Application Status : Application Received
(1. We received xxxxxx xxxxx application for permanent residence on October 29, 2013.

2. Medical results have been received.)

Now My question is, CIC sent a letter on Nov 14, 2013…. until now (Nov 28, 2013) I haven't received the letter…

How many days it take for the letter to be delivered???

What if I contact CIC to ask about the letter, what is the best way to contact them, Through phone or through email (also please share the contact number and email if you know about it.)

Please share your experience in this regard.

Afther wedding I stayed there for 6 months. I came back to Canada and did a smester here during that time applied for my husband and went back to Pakistan for 5 months. After 5 months i came back and stayed in Canada for a semester (4 months) and went to Pakistan for 2 and half months. Yes, I am in Canada. (I know you must be thinking I prolonged my studies but I loved it there, so whenever I came back to Canada it was hard for me to stay here.)
I am a canadian citizen and my husband got ppr on November 7 but I did not submit the RPRF receipt properly so i got e-mail for it few days back. My husband got remedical request on August 7, 2013 and our file was transfered to Islambad in August 2012.

This is the approval letter for sponsorship and if it got lost in the mail even Canadian Immigration states only 1 letter will be sent about this. Just call the Call Centre in Canada to find out if this is what they sent. Toll Free Number is :
1-888-242-2100. Hopes this helps In Sha Allah Please pray for my husband to get PPR our case is over 39 months

They said the samething for my case, but if you have recieved the correspondence in e-mail than they won't sent you a letter. its one or the other not both. I got an e-mail, no letter but ecase says the samething as yours "we sent you a letter..." etc
so don't worry about it.

On 25th November I got PPT request. Went to the embassy in person on 26th. After waiting for about 30-45 minutes they returned the passport with visa and a letter that I will have to show Immigration authorities on my arrival there. Flight is booked for Monday. I wish you all a speedy process with your applications!

I think this was just a Tourist Visa and not PR Visa sister I could be wrong but PPT stands for Pass Port Tourist Visa?? I'm quite sure its this and not a PPR Pass Port Permanent Visa.

I'm so afraid its a refusal that as soon as I think these terrible words mt heart breaks in two and I start crying ..... I will surely call in the morning tomorrow, I really need the letter as I have to apply for trv for my wife and i have to attach a copy of the letter... And InshAllah you will get the good news soon.. i will definitely pray for you

Chasmesh thank you for your reply, but to explain my case further, i received email on nov 12, 2013 and it was just an acceptence that they received my application and they provided me the file number and uci #. And then on November 15 on ecas they mentioned that they sent me a letter about the decision made on my file, please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting cic. So they have made the decision and i dont know wat is the decision they made... Whether its just the approval or its approval plus the information that the file has been transferred to islamabad
