Salam my friends! I'm planning to send some documents to Ottawa ... is there a confirmation or a way to verify that they have received our documents/pics/ etc? I want to make sure they can confirm receipt in any way before I go ahead and CanadaPost it to them.

Any experience?

The best you can do to confirm they received it is make canada post sign the delivery report. However, there isn't a sure way to confirm it has reached visa officer because that is private.

I agree - but life is a challenge and we gotta be prepared for it all....plus i have it a lil easy coz i was raised in Canada so quite well aware of everything and i have prepared myself for it all

Hi, thank you for your reply. We provided CIC with a Pakistan address and email. the application indicated that if email correspondence is provided, that will be their first priority. so if we get ppr request, that will happen via email right?

also my husband did provide a Pakistan address. So you mean that once we get a PPR he should go to Pakistan to give the passport and other necessary documents?

Hi, I had provided CIC my email address and my address in Kabul when my wife first applied to MISSISSAUGA office, and I got my PPR to my Kabul address via regular Pakistan post but the re-medical request was via email, but there is a member who got his/her passport request through email as well, so with Canadian High Commission it is nothing for sure they can send your passport request via email or to your address in Kabul, but as soon as you get your passport request then your husband for sure needs to provide an address in Pakistan in order to receive his passport back from CHC-I when they stamp the visa, Good Luck and God Bless YOu both! please keep praying for us too!

They rejected her trv for the same reasons
home ties/travel history
end of my hopes ...

Very frustrating situation indeed...
may allah give us courage to bear this all

Salam send by courier and get a signature that they were received their at that address is really the best way In Sha Allah

Salam if he is not in Pakistan how can he send them to CIC Islamabad. They will not send his Pass Port to any other place but Pakistan as when he arrives in Canada then he will get it stamped as a landed Immigrant because he must give Customs CORP papers. So yes he should go In Sha Allah if and when they arrive In Sha Allah

as I m sure my file is in ottawa
I applied in march2013
and visited my wife from may to july
I hav lots of proofs like
phonebills/skype chat/western.union slips/emails/viber chats/
shopping receipt in pakistan
hotel receipt of murre hotel where we stayed for a month
Passport copy/ ticket copy
lots of photos
that's all
if u can suggest anything else that I must send them??
and if u pm.me the template wat to write in a cover letter

Salam the best advice I can give you is send all the new info in and send it by courier which is faster and may Allah help you in this In Sha Allah

I am really sorry for your trv refusal. Dont be lose heart.I think chc islb don't give trv visas to spouses.that's unfair.only dotmatrix was able to get visa.he was really luky.lets keep our fingers cross and hope for best.

sorry to hear that but you should not applied Trv earlier as your case file in march 2013 you should have wait at least till initial review done then you could apply but trv visas mostly not issue ratio is very low and rejection is high. well keep your hopes high n have faith in Allah
