hmm... i know for a fact that when we submitted our application this form 4590 we had about 15 extra sheets of paper expanding on the answers we gave. perhaps CIC is requesing you to provide more detail?

I am applying for gcms notes online. I have a question regarding the consent for an access to information form. Can my husband apply directly for the notes or do I have to apply on his behalf?
If he cannot apply directly, do I also need to sign the consent form? and what about "your designated individual's full name" since we are applying online who's name should I write there?

July 25/2013 requested additional supplimentry forms for afghan nationals for my wife.
July 28/2013 filled and sent forms via e-mail and via canada post.

how long do i have to wait for stamped visa and passport. does anyone had the same senerio, as mine please if you could provide info.

I applied in April 2012 and the file was transferred to Islamabad in July 2012. I recently ordered notes and it says:

File Status: Open and In process

Then i contacted my MP and asked to help me get more information and she replied today that Islamabad office told her that they have sent me the original documents but i didnt receive it yet. Secondly, she said that they have not started anything on my file even the initial assessment as to if my relationship is genuine or not or nothing what so ever so how come they have returned my original documents? She also mentioned that the office is on strike and might take longer and that the time is now 31 months for Islamabad. Can anyone tell me from their experience as to what is going on and how should i take this as they have returned my original documents and have not stated anything?

I may be wrong but there was once an applicant here who had received a passport request and his visa was on is way when his mp told him that his file could take another year..his wife is with him in canada so dont trust what these mp's tell u..i have the same timeline n didnt get anything so far..u can start worrying only after u receive ur documents back n (God forbid) u dont hear anything months after that..so insha Allah that wont be the case n till then, chill like i am...no point in stressing out bcz its going to happen when it is meant to.

Do you know if someone with our timeline received anything yet? have you got the original documents back? Its been 15 months and nothing yet! its very frustrating.

chilling now is easier said than done yaar. aaj kal mujhe kuch acha nahi lag raha. bahut depressed ho jata hun. kaam pai concentrate nahi kar sakta. i come back from work and i dont feel like doing anything. i just sleep. sochta hun kabhi ke this life is not worth living!

now the depression is a part of our lives
but more we think abt it more we disappoint

Lolz true they dont know what they are talking About in most cases i contacted my mp in march was told that back ground checks are done and you should be getting something by june if not contact us back emailed him in july and totally different answer that nothing is done on your file yet and contact us back in november so ya they are useless only God can help us so hope we get to hear something soon this wait is frustrating....

I re-created a list of our timelines. Not everyone is added its just who i found quickly. Let me know your timelines so i can add you guys on the list. I will update it regularly. If there is any change in file, let me know and i will add that also. If there is a mistake i will correct when informed.

What i realized is we 2012 cases are becoming 2010 all over again....
