hiiii i am jan 2012 applicant tooi haven't heard other then additional documents request in may.....how much time is still to wait....em so depressed n frustrated of being waiting ......

AOA, need your help or any other member can help. After checking my GCMS notes where review was required after that chc Islamabad is thinking about interview required should I send additional documents to Islamabad?before I sent additional documents to Ottawa and my file was transferred to Islamabad but they review and place file in Interview group.
Another question what documents they asked you to submit in may 2013?

Once placed in interview. Q they will do the interview

Hello I have the same case as yours but right now I am living with my husband. I did recived the letter last week they have asked me to re-fill the IMM5490 and E33020 plus send the child birth certificate, I am just confused as in the E33020 there you need to do the medical again, and the police checks as well, did you also send the police checks again???

hello actually i went to visit my husband for 2 months and after coming back i thought to send them additional documents volunteraly and i send them a package in which i attached my e ticket, boarding pass, copy of passport with the exit stamp and pictures of celebrating my birthday, our wedding anniversary, outing pictures, greating cards, emails, skype history, phone bills history and skype snap shots after few days of sending that package i received an email in which they ask for re medical and ask to fill imm5419 (which is related to re medical) they did not ask anything ells yet and after sending that package with in 15 days i got my package back and my package shows that they reviewed it but my concern is that why they did not add a letter that they kept copies of my package .

Salam All,

I sponsored my wife who is in Pakistan last year in October. Wondering if anyone here can help me get a better understanding.

My application timelines are:
Application received: Nov 5, 2012
Sponsor approval Letter received: Dec 14, 2012
Original Nikah Nama/Wife's original degree returned: July 31st, 2013 (as the letter stated copies were kept and originals were not needed) - this came from Case Processing Pilot - Ottawa (CPP-O)

My question is:

What stage is my application at?
What follows next?
How much longer am I looking at from a processing stand point?


Any help/clarification/guidance would be extremely appreciated!

Send add docs. It necessarily doesn't mean that if your in int queue that you can't get out with sufficient proofs sent. I have seen people be put in int queue and taken out when VO was satisfied with further proofs.

send in additional documents. there was a dude named Ezee who got out of the interview queue by sending in additional docs. secondly- contact your mp and ask him to find out why you were put in the interview queue.

I think you are fine as long as they opened the package and went through it. btw when did ur medical expire?

actually first medical is expire and they ask for re medical and for re medical we book and appointment in the mid of august

This is not true if you send more documents to prove relationship they do sometimes take you out of Interview Queue................So send them if you have them that could be screen shots phone bills or visits anything I pray Allah helps you get out of Interview In Sha Allah

Im worried abt something so hope somebody will take me out if my misery..my husband applied for me from quebec and we also got quebec selection but he recently moved to ontario due to family issues so i wanted to ask will create an issue/delay for my case? Will they be suspicious as to y he applied from one province n then moved to another?

In December the Visa Officer said the back ground check can take from 6 to 9 months well it will be 9 months next month Sept 13/13 so lets see what happens. If its not final after making numerous attempts to different agencies and forums on here one is Road To Canada Forums. One person has been waiting over 6 years because he traveled a lot to different places so because of this he case is taking all this time to be final just because he traveled the world.

Can you guide me to this person ( forum or link ) who is waiting for six years? as my folks have extensive travel history too so just wanna see what their case is, 6 years is beyond imagination - we already waiting since 5.5 years
