I got a letter from CIC as well.. they need IMM 5490, Birth certificate, Supplementary Forums and Police check.. Haven't asked for the Medical yet. My husband did the medical in 2011 n I applied the file in July 2012. I got a letter week ago and its written clearly to submitted the document withi 45 days...

I tried to call but they do not answer .. did e-mails but no reply.. in the letter they did not mentioned the medical but in the kit of Forum E33020 the medical is present. I do not know what to do... plus all the other proofs like nikah nama.. education etc.. plz help as i do not have enough time

my friend got the exact same request from CHC-I few days back, he prepared RE-PCC and additional forms and birth certificate of his child in canada and everything else, in the letter he got RE-MED was not mentioned, my guess is that once the office receives all these documents they might send him his RE-MED and PPR in one letter, please note that if they required RE-MED they would have sent a form to him called BIO DATA or something in which the applicant first name and last name is mentioned and case number is also mentioned, this form if not provided by CHC-I that means they will send RE-MED request later, hope that helps, GOD BLESS!

I also got the same request, needed to complete some new forms as the ones we submitted were out-dated. also asked for new police certificate as it was last done Jan 2012. this request was recieved through email from ISB dated June 1 2013 and requested "these documents in 45 days or the decision will be made with what they have available" - my wife and I completed and mailed through TCS June 20 (i think +/- days).. no medical was mentioned in this letter. no word back yet, but her online status was updated with her PK address

My husband recieved my orignal nekha nama from orainto and my file transfered to islamabad in 18th january 2013
So is it a good sign? And does it happen to any of the applicants here ??

Salam, I think in the end they all end up in Islamabad but maybe ask someone who has applied the same as you and perhaps they can better guide you In Sha Allah

The first interview was more for security cause of a photo of a wedding guest this is why it has been taking so long. The second was to see if the marriage was genuine which the visa officer declared was a genuine relationship. After speaking with my husband and telling her I was in Pakistan since the end of April/12 to June/13 and the fact that I had visited countless times before. She was a gentle person asking basic questions. I was waiting in a hotel in Islamabad for a call which never came from them. She was concern for my health and how to wash veggies and fruits and gave info on how to do it. One was washing them with Iodine which is amazing never go to Pakistan without it. My husband said she was a decent person kind, considerate and interested in all he said. Then she told him it would take 6 to 9 months for back ground check. Its going into the 9th month so we hope its done soon In Sha Allah...........

Security reason of a guest photo? Why? How can they declare someone suspicious based on the picture?

lol must have been some jahil maulvi...but jokes aside let this be a warning to future applicants..be wary of who you invite to your wedding..

Thank You for the repy.. it did helped a lot.. one more think can you please look in to E33020 this is nmentioned on the letter.. I am confused ..

what is your timeline? has it been more than a year? you should order your gmc notes to see whats going on..

It is highly frustrating when your lawyer keeps advicing u against ordering gcms notes..he says that this will void his authority as the representative as we'll be taking matters into our own hands..what should i do?

Form his perspective, if ppl start doing on their own then ppl won't need them. He is looking after his interest and depriving you of something which is fundamental, I have 7 GCMS so far, order 2 every month now, it told me lot of things, else my file would have been rejected due to the mistake of NDVO - either you tell him that he needs to order to you will. The file at CHC-I has got no connection with ATIP, which is a different request from Ottawa
I hate to tell you but you hired some run of the mill consultant who is actually not needed for these kind of sponsorship

I had his hair-dresser back in Toronto, who was doing 2 jobs coz she and her husband were told my a "lawyer", they need to meet income requirement, they postponed their sponsorship to get the income up whereas they have jobs. In spusal, you don't need to meet income - so there you go some of them are clueless

lol that is one hell of a insecure lawyer. order your gmc notes. it has nothing to do with your lawyer! your lawyer wont even know you ordered it. this way you will know what is going on with your case. you might find out you are in the interview queue and then you can send more docs. you can save at least 12-18 months this way.

There is no need to waste money by hiring lawyer, completing the forms are very straightforward plus this forum is so helpful. In my opinion who is using lawyers their case might raise quotations as to why lawyers are hired for legal work.
