You or she can buy a iPhone or Samsung galaxy then you can call her for free via app called Viber in Afghanistan she can buy data plan is very cheap you can chat then you will be able to save your chat history and print it. Also you can do skype chat face to face as well.

Anyone who had applied for temporary resident visa n ordered the notes,did they find anything different in theirs like difference in security checks n background checks etc..cause mostly everyone gets theres blank in this area but obviously when processing for trv,they r bound to do background checks

Also,the people who got contacted by the embassy,were they contacted after the date of their file transfer or just generally in that month..

I got the exact same gcms notes as Kiinngg Farakh Gujjar with very similar due dates. My questions are:

1) If the due dates are of last week, why does it still say "Not started" under the assessments of Criminality and Security?
2) What is the "Eligibility" assessment and why does it say not started when the due date was of last year?
3) Why are the fields of HIRV, Org Crime, Misrepresentation and Other reqm blank?
4) Are there any other checks that are supposed to happen and not mentioned in the Kiinngg Farakh Gujjar gcms notes?
5) Does it say anywhere in the gcms notes that the background checks have been completed (education, photos verification, addresses, birth certificates etc)?
6) Now that it looks like the file has been transferred to Islamabad from Ottawa in May 2013, how long will the Security, Criminality and Eligibility checks should take based on your experiences?

I have tried checking my application status online for over a week and it shows error. I am waiting for my passport return does this mean that my application process is finished. All the information i enter is correct there is no issue with that part. But i thought system might have a problem but for over a week its just not possible for system glitch. Shocked

Nick_Afg bro VIBER does work in AFG just download the file APK file from internet and not from PLAY Store if you have Andriod phone, if you have iphone then download the file of viber from another site and not from ITUNE Store, viber will work because I am using it in Kabul, AFG

came to forum after long time. AlhamdulliAllh in Canda and doing good. Want expert opinion from the honorable members of the forum. Recently my sister is engaged in Canada, currently she is on student visa at Newzeland for two years. If she gets married, is it possible to get transferred her case from CHC Islamabad to Newzeland embassy? Will it work and shorten the duration of her PR? Any past example that its possible to transfer?

Coz of this Ottawa / Islamabad thing our documents/credentials are physically sitting at Ottawa.. So that's y now u r not getting those back along with your passport.. This is what exactly happened to us.. But we emailed Islamabad and Ottawa to inquire about our stuff, only Ottawa replied and said that they will mail all the documents back at Canadian address. So if you haven't get anything yet I highly recommend you to Email Ottawa at otttpilot-immigiration@cic.gc.ca.
