I am a new member. I will be sending the documents tomorrow and just realized something that I have filled out the forms on paper instead of doing it electronically, thus no barcode available. However, the person being sponsored (my husband) has done so electronically.

So, my question is : Would filling out on paper cause delay?

you are only sponsoring your wife ehh, then only she will fill the form. the forms are the same for other immigration category thats why they are generic and confusing.

Salam yes she must include their names as you never know maybe one day will like to come to Canada even though at this present time they do not. If they are not listed now they will never be able to come ever.........Hope this helps In Sha Allah

I would like to apply for GCMS/CAIPS but it says we need to fill form online, but before we used to fill form IMM5744 and IMM5563, do they changed they criteria for applying note? please advice.

in some forms barcode is required if bar code is missing then it will cause delay,, otheriwse its ok to fill on paper

Official documentation confirming your relationship to your sponsor and both of your relationships to the other family members on your application. This may include family lists and household registries
so what documents should i send ?
i have no kids now.

u can submit b form ... or family registration certificate .. u will get both from nadra

I dont come to this forum much , as i feel perhaps I still need to go a long way. My husband applied for me n our daughters immigration in feb 2013. From what i read on ur status n posts , urs took around 15 months to get the ppr ... can you guess how long would it take us to get our turns ? has the process become faster than before ? Should ppl from 2013 be a lil hopeful to get their turns soon ? It sure is pretty difficult to live away from our family members n one wishes time would just fly quickly.

no worries some minor question, some time they call to verify the details on PP or name spelling or if there is no last name change or Name change after marriage , but just tell her to be prepare if they ask any specific question just tell her to be calm ready and please advice her to not chit chat too much with them or translator keep it to just Yes and no. no worries bro all the major work is done its just a minor question, if anything big they will call for interview trust me they don't care, your wife interview is waived already, its last step work, its normal they call people specially in AFG to verify some info some time. In fact they call one of my wife's friend to tell her what she has to do when she arrives in Canada in port on entry to finalized her landing. inshaullah everything will be fine just advice her to have her phone on in case if they call again and be her self and keep it short and confident . take care my bro, wish all the best keep me updated once bakhair she gets the visa that how long it took, bro can you tell me how she submitted her passport through which service and how much was the charges? thanks, best wishes bro, good luck, she will get the visa soon in this Holy month bakhair, its the month of Barakat, inshaulllah she will be soon with you brother. keep in touch. wasalam

HI ALL,
I HAVE A QUESTION REGARDING GCMS NOTES.
When I applied for the notes online and paid the $ 5.00 fee, it gave me a payment confirmation screen and alsoa an email came to me having the payment receipt info in it. Now the question is on the Ecase website, can we use that receipt number that starts with R to chk the status of our GCMS request?
